The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and the food in the restaurant or bar was pretty damn good too. The bedrooms however need a bit more effort. Have stayed two nights with friends. Room very small, bathroom was small as well. What hit me was that bathroom mirror wasn't clean! This place is perfect if all you want is a clean bed as close as possible to the ferry. Staff are a bit scarce but when they do appear they are very welcoming. Wouldn't recommend this as a holiday stop but I would definitely check in again ahead of an early morning crossing. more

An incredibly disappointing place to stay. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, rooms were incredibly noisy, warm and stuffy. We didn't have high expectations of this place, only booking it to serve the purpose to rest and recover so that we could continue our journey throughout Ireland. We stayed here in August 2008 and had a room with balcony. Great views over the port and we spent hours watching the ships come and go and the motorists drive off and on.
