Stayed here for an overnight with my partner. The property itself is gorgeous, really tastefully decorated and has that holiday home feel to it, overlooking the sea. The grounds are blissful and the sandy beaches are just below, should you fancy a stroll. The room we stayed in, while quite basic, was cosy, clean and comfortable. My other half mentioned... More

We were in Ireland for two weeks and enjoyed three days at Clifford House. Stunning home, Margaret and Michael were excellent hosts. Breakfast was lovely especially those strawberries. Thanks to Margaret for assisting us with a load of washing. Comfortable rooms. We have nothing negative to say. Just wonderful.

A great B&B sitting just above the cliffs, looking out to the Irish Sea. It's only a five minute drive to the ferry terminal, so its perfect if you are catching the ferry in the morning. The proprietress was very friendly, and made us feel welcome. Although we didn't opt for breakfast as we had to catch an early ferry,... More

We drove from Kerry to London but decided to break up the journey by staying overnight in Rosslare. Clifford House proved to be an excellent place to stay with great views out over the harbourand a choice of places to eat within a few minute stroll. The hosts Margaret and Michael were friendly hosts, the beds were comfortable and the... More

A great B&B. Quite apart from the comfort, welcome and attention to detail offered by Margaret at Clifford House, the property itself is delightful. We booked for the first and last nights of our trip to Ireland and really appreciated Margaret's flexibility - late breakfast on the first morning and early breakfast on the last to allow us to catch... Having travelled across on the ferry we were greeted by Margaret with tea and home made cakes. It is only 5 minutes to the ferry terminal so we stayed again on our return trip to catch the 0900 ferry so there was no mad rush in the morning. The bedrooms were spacious with lovely comfortable beds and excellent showers. The... More

We loved this B&B ... . We were greeted with a smile, a hot pot of tea and wonderful homemade treats! Just what we needed after our ferry ride from UK. The house is beautiful, the view unmatchable, and the hospitality exceptional. Nice place to take a sunset walk on the beach after a nice dinner in Rosslare. LOVED it!... More

After a week zipping around Ireland we decided to stop over before taking the early ferry home. We arrived after dark and left before sunrise so can't wax lyrical about the view or the cliff walk or the gardens. However we were made so welcome with tea and coffee, cakes and scones presented to us on arrival to just take... More

Margret was a wonderful, making us feel very welcome. The beds in the family suite are doubles, which were a little short for my 2 meter frame. The mattresses were also a bit worn. Breakfast was very good, serving a full Irish breakfast. Leave Rosslare Harbour for dinner, the local fare is wanting. The view was fantastic. Very close to... More
