We spent two nights in this small and friendly place. There are three bedrooms and a restaurant seating about 35. Highlights were: the separate vegetarian menu which matched the non-veggie tasting menu course for course (six in all), the gorgeous room, cosy without compromising on important things like a generous shower; the hot water bottle - which wasn't needed in... Party of four all had tasting menu. From the appetiser to desert the food was amazing. Seafood left you licking your lips. Well done we are never disappointed when we plan a trip to Aldridge. Agree with comments about all tables having to have tasting menu but can understand the serving logistics if mix at table.

There was a table d'hote menu and a tasting menu but we all had to order from the same menu despite there being a good mix of diners availing of both (two of us would have loved to take the tasting menu and two the table... 8 of us visited from the UK for dinner, we were staying at a hotel close by. Outstanding food cooked by Billy Whitty in a wonderful location. Fresh fish in abundance, imaginative starters and delicious main courses. Very friendly welcome, lovely staff and great attention to detail. If you are in the area this is a 'must dine here' venue.... More

We visited Aldridge Lodge on the recommendation of a few people. We had planned on only going for dinner but realised on looking that they had a dinner bed and breakfast rate at a very reasonable price. We were greeted by Joanne who gave us a lovely welcome and showed us to our room immediately . It was amazing and... More

I keep meaning to write a review and am finally doing so. We have eaten at this restaurant many many times and since we moved to the area we will get to eat there even more. Last Sunday was our most recent visit. The food was gorgeous. Even on a very busy night you are never waiting and don't feel... More

Firstly, if you are in the area have dinner here, it is just the best in a long time. Every aspect of the food was just created with such care and attention to detail. None of the reviews quiet capture the food. It was just such a surprise. Secondly, if you want to continue the experience stay in one of... More

This place is absolutley amazing, the staff are so friendly and the host joanne is so bubbly and friendly. Billy the chef can make masterpieces, every dish we had was top notch. Stayed overnight too and had a wonderful stay. The breakfast we had the next morning was probably the best weve ever eaten. From the homemade jams to homemade... More
