We arrived early as the member of our party who had taken a fall needed to rest the sprained ankle, however Phyllis was very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away, tea and coffee was provided while we waited in the lounge for the finishing touches to be put to the rooms. Phyllis is very particular about her... more

Karen and Eileen from Phila, PA stayed there for one night 9/30/2009 - the rooms and meals were just fine - within short walk to one bar on a busy rode - but we had some drinks - and lots of laffs. The beautiful yard had a small fish pond - but Molly, the family dog was a true joy... more

My friend and I stayed here for 1 night on our whirlwind tour of Ireland. We stayed at 4 other B&Bs on our trip and this was by far our favorite. The owner was incredibly hospitable and very friendly without intruding. Our room was quite comfortable and spacious, as was the bathroom, with our own large tub too! The dining... more

I stayed here with family on a recent trip. The guesthouse does everything well. Rooms were spacious and clean, and really nicely decorated. phyllis the host was friendly and shared lots of local knowledge with us, stuff we wouldn't get in a tourist office. There was a guest tv lounge as well as sunroom and gardens so you didn't feel... more

We stayed with Ashleigh House on a bus tour of Ireland. We had stayed in several other B&Bs and loved them all. Ashleigh House was by far the nicest as far as quality of furnishings and services. Extremely clean, beautiful home with an amazing garden. Phyllis and TJ were perfect hosts and served us like royalty. They went out of... more

I stayed at Ashleigh House early in my trip and felt so comfortable. Phyllis and TJ are warm people who immediately made me feel genuinely welcome. I love their sense of humor, the ease at which they interact with their guests - and the breakfasts are delicious. The home itself is one of the most comfortable and attractively decorated B&Bs... more

This was the best B&B that we stayed in while in Ireland. TJ and Phyllis were very courteous to us, and treated us like royalty. From the elegant table spreads, the fine food, the very clean rooms and the great hospitality, this was a quality stay that we'll not forget. If you get the chance to stay, you will be... more

We had a very nice stay at the Ashleigh House B&B. Phyllis was a very accomodating person. The breakfast was excellent. I HIGHLY suggest supper at the Pub across the street... the best Fish & Chips I have ever had. Do not plan on walking in to town, a little far out. more
