Arrived for a 2 night stay, luckily enough managed to get a car park spot, reception and bar looked lovely. However since we'd upgraded to an "executive" room I was expecting a touch of class since it is 4*, this was far from the case, the room was showing plenty signs of use, in the bathroom the towel rail was... This is our second time staying here andI we upgraded to a bigger room. Hotel provided camp bed for little fella. Room was superb, loads of space. Breakfast like the last stay was very good. Plenty of selection and very friendly staff. My only gripe is parking at the hotel. I know hotel is in city centre and if I was... More

My second time saying here, I was curious to see if this place had changed at all. Centrally located but not in a pretty neighbourhood; the relatively new surrounding buildings look grey and bleak and, dare I say it, a little low rent. I was on the third floor and had a view across to a depressing looking block of... More

Nice hotel in the heart of Waterford City, close to shops etc. Food was ok but there are plenty of other places to eat close by also. Staff were very friendly and hospitable. Would definitely return for another weekend away if the price was right.

We stayed there a few weeks ago for 2 nights. We had a Groupon Deal. This is a good centrally located hotel in Waterford City with a good irish breakfast and an excellent dinner menu for 49 Euro for 4 courses for two including a bottle of wine. First class food and service. Well worth visiting even if you are... More

We stayed at the fitzwilton hotel for two nights on Valentine's weekend 2015.The location of the hotel is around a five minute walk from the city centre. They have a free car park for their guests.it's a very small car park if you are not a confident driver maybe get the passenger to drive in and out. We had our... More

I have stayed in this hotel a few times and have never been disappointed. It is a well-located, nicely decorated hotel with friendly, helpful staff and good value tasty food. The bar is small enough in size but has plenty of tables. I have eaten both in the restaurant and the bar. Both are nice and both run special offers... More

Just stayed in this hotel on a valentines package 2 nights b&b including evening meal. Firstly the staff are very friendly and the food was very nice but that's it. The room where do I start....stains all over carpet, walls needed a lick of paint, flat screen TV had been replaced with a smaller model that you had to squint... More

This hotel is fairly average. The staff were mostly friendly but at breakfast two mornings in a row I had to call someone to get served. The breakfast itself was a full Irish consisting of very average processed meats, beans, and mushrooms. The Wi-Fi was sporadic and the TV had 3 channels. The shower was a weak and none too... More
