I have never stayed in the Ramada but I go there a bit for food. All the food is lovely and the staff are really nice. It is also a nice to have dinner and then get one of there complementary newspapers. More

They need to redo their website. It seemed to indicate room + B&B was €55 while room-only was €35. As it was the best location for my business trip I decided to book room-only and find someplace for breakfast. I was then offered breakfast for €10 per day extra! Nice bar area serving non fussy but good quality food. Hotel staff very friendly. Rooms, well my room anyway, didnt check them all :-), was of a good size and free wifi signal was good. Rooms and hotel overall were in pristine condition. Facilities were good. Staff were 100% on the ball. The location is bit out from city centre but not ridiculously so. At 35 euro for a room this represented exceptional value. Any negatives? well one of the lads was annoyed that they wouldn't put a round of drinks on the room. Mind... More

We spent a long weekend here, touring around. Big airy room, clean and well up together. Breakfast good, bar food excellent, receptionist extremely helpful. Bit out of town, so you need a car, plenty of parking. All in all good value. More

We were at a conference in the hotel and stayed there for 2 nights. Good points are that the breakfast was good, free newspaper in the morning, the room was clean and large with lots of plugs to charge phones, computer and technology. Free wifi is good too. Stayed at Ramada Viking Hotel, Cork Road, Waterford 18 - 21.10.11. Was MOST impressed by Room, Food, Facilities etc and especially by the friendliness and attention to detail by all the Staff. Unhesitatingly recommend stay there to anyone. Look especially at Rooms 1 - 117 for quiet peace. More
