I just returned from a 3 night stay in Dooleys and was pleasantly surprised. I read reviews that it was dated etc and although it is, its in a nice way. The decor is very homely. I stayed in the Fitzwilton the last time I was in Waterford (2mths ago) and although the penthouse was gorg, it didnt have the... more

My wife and I travelled as part of a coach tour to Ireland and stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The room was comfortable and met our needs. As part of a coach tour meal times were non negotiable, you had to eat at the time you were told to. We had to sit with 8 other people, which... more

I attended a party there last week and I have to say this hotel was great. It was value for money, the food was gorgeous (a nice room service menu) and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful at the reception desk. Breakfast is great very reasonable and gorgeous if only they served it a... more

It's been over a decade since I stayed at Dooley's and not much has changed - and that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a good quality, centrally located hotel in Waterford. It's also well priced and has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The room decor is a little dated, to be sure, but it's still comfortable and serviceable. Staff are... more

We stayed last weekend for Valentines and we could not fault this hotel. The location was perfect for us as it was quite central and the hotel had a very cosy atmosphere. The breakfast was outstanding and staff could not have been more helpful. On our return to Waterford we would not hesitate to stay in Dooleys again. more

On one occasion we were on our way to a wedding, we stopped off to freshen up and have a snack, we could'nt believe when a member of staff offered us a room to change. Well... more

While travelling the south coast of Ireland with my family we booked into Dooleys Hotel. From the minute we arrived the whole experience was totally relaxed. We stayed for 2 nights in a double room, which was set up with double, single and a travel cot. Rooms, bathroom and storage were all nice and clean. I have only good things... more
