We stayed at Faithlegg with a CIE tour group. The hotel and the room were quite nice and quiet. If you have a car, it would be an enjoyable place to stay. But if you are part of a tour group, it's undesirable. It is miles from anything. more

I have used this hotel several times as it offers a quieter alternative to the co-owned Tower Hotel in Central Waterford. The modern hotel is based around a Georgian country house in which the reception and restaurants as well as some of the higher grade rooms are located. The hotel is located in impressive grounds which includes a Golf course... more

Hi all, House inspector here again. Stayed one night at the faithlegg in a 4 poster bedroom which I must say lived up to my expectations. We were checked in by the duty manager who was very nice as expected. However he was just covering for a lady who was on her break who was very unhelpfull when asked a... more

My wife and I stayed here with our 3yr old son for the June weekend, We were very impressed by the grounds and the old house is very impressive. The room we stayed in was modern, clean and relatively spacious. The trip started off well, we we're excited to see an advert in the room for the Kids Club -... more

We stayed for 3... more

We are just back from a 3 day break at the Faithlegg Hotel in Waterford (wife and 2 young children) and I have to say we were extremely disappointed with the whole experience. As has been mentioned in a number of reviews on this website, the fundamental issue with this hotel is that it fails spectacularly in one of the... more

Was here in early May for a weekend break. Found the staff to be most courteous. Went into Waterford on the Saturday night and loved the fact that the cab driver was able to talk about the hotel and mentioned the night manager by name, saying how nice she was and that she would look after us when we came... more

just back from a 2 day stay at faithlegg, and am very dissappointed. Rooms for a 4 star are well below average, more like a motel room, no valances on the beds so you can see the bed base(just gives a feeling of uncleanliness), rooms are tiny with paperthin walls, you can hear conversations next door, snoring, tvs, toilets flushing... more
