We stumbled on this jewel by accident. While having lunch, we asked our waitress if she had a recommendation for a local B&B. Another one of the customers commented that her parents ran a B&B, and would we like for her to check on availability. Needless to say, we did. We were pleased with everything especially the service, and the... More

Overall, this B&B was perfectly adequate. We stayed recently fo 2 nights with our adult daughter on our 8 day driving tour of SW Ireland. We had 2 rooms. Both rooms were nicely sized, with quite large bathrooms (ours had a tub with shower). The beds were well sized, but were extremely hard. It was like sleeping on the floor.... More

A lovely helpful host.....rooms clean..breakfast adequate. ...lots and lots of antiques in the rooms...a bit cluttered though......expecting beautiful landscaped gardens but unfortunately a bit "overgrown"... a beautiful house but starting to look "run down"

From our arrival to our departure nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed with coffee and cake as well as lots of interesting information about the house, Wexford and good places o eat / visit. Antoinette's passion for her home shone through without being boring. The house is filled with a whole collection of fascinating artifacts; each time we... More

We stayed one night at the Sion Hill House B&b. It was a great stay. We were in the Thomas Francis Meagher Suite - so quiet! The full Irish breakfast was the best - everything you would want. Antoinette & her husband George were nice. Place had plenty of parking.

This place was as close as it gets to staying in a castle. The dining room alone has such intriguing pieces like the Venetian Chandelier. JFK memorabilia (George is a Kennedy – royalty to an Irish Catholic Boston girl like me), Artwork and beautiful china. I felt so underdressed at breakfast like I should have been in fancy pajamas with... More

The folks at the local museum booked us here and an excellent choice. Antoinette was a great host. Checked in about 5:30, and she made us some tea and sweets. Talked with her about the area and she told us about some unmarked treasures on our planned trip. Rooms are OK size and house overlooks city on opposite side of... More

We found this on the internet and it looked special. We saved this for our last stay in Ireland and it was fantastic! Best spot for viewing the historic waterfront in Waterford. Tucked away but perfectly placed. The welcome was excellent and the hosts George and Antoinette were lovely. We stayed for two nights and wished we had booked in... More

Really welcoming stately home with gardens and peace abounding. Hospitality second to none with the loveliest of hosts, Antoinette and George. The room was regal and spacious with a decent ensuite. The breakfast was hearty with excellent alternatives to the grilled offering for us carnivoures! Thanks for the wonderful few days in Waterford.
