One of the best decisions I made when I arranged for our 30 day roundabout of Ireland (July 2015) was to stay at Maragret's Foxmount Country House early in the trip. You can believe it's outstanding reviews and awards for staying at this country house sets the mood for real Ireland B&B hospitality. Maragret, assisted by her daughter-in-law, is a... More

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night !!- wish it could have been longer, such a genuine warm welcome from Margaret, tea and buns on arrival, lovely spotless, en suite room, so cosy, and the breakfast was superb, great selection, and so tasty.

Seldom have we felt so cosseted in a b and b. The breakfast is superb, the gardens are beautiful, and the rooms are very comfortable, We particularly enjoyed the many friendly dogs, including two foxhound pups in training. (For dinner, try the Strand Inn in Dunmore East, where you can partake of the lively atmosphere of an Irish family seaside... More

We stayed at Foxmount for two nights. Margaret was great! Rooms are comfortable and the showers are hot. Breakfast was great too! All the other bed and breakfasts we stayed in can't hold a candle to this one. It was a wonderful experience! We hope to visit again.

We stayed at Foxmount the first night of our trip in Ireland, and we wished we could have stayed 5 more days. We were greeted by Margaret (she is amazing!!) upon arrival. She immediately made us tea and helped us plan the evening. She recommended the Strand Inn in Dunmore East and made reservations for us. We ended up with... More

This was a beautiful place to stay on our 17 day journey through all of Ireland! The hosts were so gracious. Family run farm within walking distance of a great old historic pub. The beds were "yummy" with big puffy duvet and nicest quality linens. Bathroom was big in our room.....something we didn't find alot in Ireland! Living room was... More

This is a beautiful well maintained home on a working farm, complete with charming furnishings and a large bedroom and bath, plus yummy scones and homemade jams and jellies. However, the best part of staying at the Foxmount House is Margaret. When we arrived after getting a bit lost we were starving and she directed us to the best restaurant... More

Beautiful family run B&B about a 10 minute drive from Waterford city centre towards Dunmore East. Margaret is an excellent host, really attentive, friendly and helpful. The setting is stunning; an old country house on a working dairy farm. We loved all the animals being around. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and lots... More

This was our 3rd trip to Foxmount and it was amazing. We drove thru Waterford just to stay there. Mr and Mrs Kent are just so warm and friendly. Afternoon than on arrival is a delight. The grounds are just so lovely and the walk down the lane to Jack Meades Pub. Thank you to Heather, she was a pure... More
