Foxmount Country House was a delight to stay at from the moment we arrived in pouring rain to be greeted with hot tea and cakes. The room we had was very spacious with a double bed and two single beds which were very comfortable. The house is filled with historic grandeur which is complimented by the superb welcoming service of... More

We spent a wonderful 2 nights in this beautiful home of Margaret and David and could not have had a better introduction Ireland. Margaret was the most gracious and caring hostess and was most concerned when we became lost. After that slight hiccup we were welcomed with a much needed afternoon tea and were then shown to a beautifully appointed... More

Foxmount was probably the best B&B we stayed in whilst working on our latest trip to my homeland. We arrived very late and were looked after straight away, it was very clear from the moment we walked in how well the old house is looked after. I was shocked to hear in the morning at breakfast that it had been... More

We just returned home from a ten day trip to Ireland and our night at Foxmount House continues to be a highlight of our trip. A warm welcome from Margaret, tea in her beautiful sitting room, a walk out to see the horses. Spent some time with her sweet grandchildren, seeing the chickens and walking through the garden. My husband... More

Recently spent two nights here with two other couples and found it to be a wonderful place. Margaret was a great host and her years of experience showed. From scones to fireplace, everything was well organized and all her family were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to eat. Heather was quite willing to take time from... We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a couples tour of Ireland. A very warm greeting by Margaret on arrival. Offered us tea and scones in the drawing room. Very beautiful home and grounds. Each room was very spacious and immaculate. The breakfast included choices of Irish breakfat, french toast and the unique porridge with Jamieson soaked raisins. Delicious!!... More

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by our hostess, Margaret Kent. Foxmount has the feel of old country charm, along with beautifully furnished rooms. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge with the warm inviting fireplace. The dining room was beautiful with the bay window overlooking the gardens.. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was incredible, such a variety of fresh... More

We booked a night at Foxmount Country house ONLY because my mom and dad had stayed there about 14 years ago and ranted and raved about it. We were not disappointed!! Foxmount is lavishly furnished and has been operating as a B&B for more than 40 years- same lovely hosts: Margaret and David Kent. It is a country house near... More

This a treasure of Ireland. We stayed in this B & B for one night. It is located just out side of Waterford. The problem was the signage to the B& B was not easily noticed and it took a few calls to get there. It is located on an active farm. The rooms were well decorated and very pleasant... More
