Our 2 days there were simply delightful. Foxmount is a perfect base for visiting fascinating Waterford city (glassworks and great museums). The house is beautiful, the room just fine, and the breakfasts wonderful. What makes Foxmount really special though (as anyone who has stayed there can attest), is the people: Margaret, Heather, and David. David's helpfulness, Heather's wonderful spirit and... More

I booked 3 nights in Foxmount Country House and I am so glad I did. We stayed in the king-bedded room at the front of the house which was large and comfortable and had a lovely view of the front gardens. The only downside for us is that WiFi was only available in the conservatory and if others were trying... More

Foxmount Country House is a gem. A serpigenous, exhilarating drive from Dublin to Passage East Road in Waterford landed us in this quaint, five star B&B. The hostess was warm, inviting and exhibited quintessential grace. The B&B was a working farm and the family was intimately involved in helping with needed tasks. The accommodations were excellent with comfortable beds. The... More

Had a great stay at Foxmount Margaret and Heather could not do anymore to make our stay more pleasant. Everything at breakfast came from the garden and we had great advice each morning on were to go and what places to visit and where to eat! A great base to visit the surrounding area, especially Waterford crystal. Everyone so friendly... More

We stayed for one night. This is a beautiful country home on a working farm. It's a city dwellers fantasy of a country home. (think Town and Country magazine). The owner was extremely gracious; breakfast was top notch. There is a great little pub within walking distance or you can drive a few miles to Dunmore East for dinner in... More

This lovingly-restored fine old house is not the easiest place in the world - or even Waterford! - to find, but the time spent investigating the leafy by-ways is well worth the effort, for the destination is a most charming place. The house stands so beautifully among the trees that it would be a shame if the key components did... More

Great entrance through the tree-lined drive, a wonderful greeting. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in an old home restored with care. Very comfortable sitting room, where Margaret insisted on lighting an evening fire, and then added wood as it died down while we were visiting with other guests. Great breakfast - so much delicious food.

A wonderful feel to a beautiful home…Margaret made my husband and I feel so welcome…our en suite room was lovely and the breakfast superb. We only stopped the one night, but wished, that we could have stopped longer. If we are in Ireland again we certainly would stay at the Foxmount Country House in the, Enchanting Beautiful Emerald Isle...

One of the best decisions I made when I arranged for our 30 day roundabout of Ireland (July 2015) was to stay at Maragret's Foxmount Country House early in the trip. You can believe it's outstanding reviews and awards for staying at this country house sets the mood for real Ireland B&B hospitality. Maragret, assisted by her daughter-in-law, is a... More
