The Granville Waterford is a beauiful small hotel with nice rooms, fine dining and a bar most charming. Nice touches such as offering Baileys at breakfast with our morning coffee . You will enjoy this facility if you merely visit the georgous bar, but we suggest you stay over.

Room 317! Strange set-up with bed on a step up level. No a/c but oscillating tower fan in room. Unfortunately not enough for me when I was there. This room faces the street and the water, which is a nice view, but if you need the window open, it's noisy. The bed is directly in front of the door which... More

Our Restaurant Sunday lunch is renowned for its quality content, its value, the service and the surroundings. Our linen cover tables with linen serviettes create a comfortable, warm and hospitable ambiance. We provide full service and have more options on our Sunday lunch selection in the restaurant for children than we do for adults. We cater very well always for... More

Recently stayed at the Granville for two nights for a wedding. Very comfortable hotel, relaxing and very well maintained. Excellent staff, friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help with requests. Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend if staying Waterford. City centre location.

Don't be afraid of booking this hotel if you are passing through Waterford. As part of a Globus tour of Ireland 42 of us landed at the Granville late one evening. There to meet us was the duty manager who spoke to us and bid us enter. The hotel itself was full of old world charm, our room was quite... More

We were so impressed with our stay at the Granville Hotel, Waterford. We were greeted with cheer as our keys were given to us. We had a splendid dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor. We had a restful, comfortable stay and a lovely breakfast send off! The proprietor of the hotel spoke to us with a sincere farewell... More

Fantastic traditional hotel with lovely rooms and exceptional staff, ideally placed for exploring the town and county. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious with plenty of choice catering for all tastes. Highly recommend this hotel and would re-visit when touring Ireland in the future.

The Granville Hotel is centrally and prominently located at Waterford, beside the water in a grand old building, beautifully maintained, decorated and furnished. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and after a very long day of travel we were grateful for the efficient and kind manner in which we were booked into our room. The room was a good size,... More

Wonderful hotel by the water in Waterford. We were fortunate enough to be assigned a room with a balcony and amazing views. There was a Queen and a single bed which were very comfortable. The room was large and nicely decorated and furnished. There was a safe, iron, hairdryer, coffee and tea. Large bathroom vanity and great shower. Too bad... More
