The Granville is a cozy boutique hotel. The hotel has an interesting history and is appreciated by those who work here, The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and cozy at the same time. The hotel bar was buzzing all day long and the daily carvery lunch is very popular with the locals. The bar also... More

Had a lovely weekend break in Waterford and was lucky enough to book the Granville. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was large , clean and very comfortable. Staff were friendly 7 professional, great history between Francis Meagher and the Clock. I have rarely seen an olde Hotel so well maintained & polished. Breakfast was great value and the place had a buzz.

The décor was warm... More

This was my first stay at the Granville Hotel and it won't be my last. The staff, the room, the restaurant and the service were second to none. I loved the old style, but spotlessly clean furnishings and decor. The history attached to the hotel was great and the Waterford Blaa bread with my Eggs Benedict was delicious. I felt... More

Well located for shopping. A dated older hotel. We were in one of the upstairs rooms and had no real view. You opened the curtain and saw a small alley between another building. Just another wall. The heating was too hot. Great food, good service. We weren't here long, it was a quick stop as part of our tour.

Stayed here with friends for 5 days just after Christmas. Plenty of history attached to this hotel. It's a comfortable, friendly, family run hotel. We have stayed here three times previously. They have an excellent restaurant the food is lovely. The entertainment at night was great. Car parking available across from the hotel at a reduced rate. Shopping area within... More

Stayed at The Granville Hotel for only one night on this visit but I can certainly say it won't be the last visit. The hotel has the old world charm that so many city hotels has lost. The staff without a doubt make the experience. We had dinner in the bar which was wholesome good food & a great choice... More
