Very nice hotel that manages to have old world character without feeling old. We had a family room, which was good sized and well furnished. The staff was exceptionally friendly and arranged a babysitter for our children. Pub in the hotel served lovely Irish food and a nice selection of whiskeys and very nice breakfast. Good location as well with... More

Our room was very comfortable and fairly quiet even facing the waterfront. Bar staff friendly and bar open even longer than I could manage with an excellent range of good quality spirits. Reception staff very helpful with parking arrangements and all other questions. One of the best hotel breakfasts we've had and we're fussy about food sources, quality and cooking.

myself and my family attended the New Years Eve bash at the hotel and we had a great night. I tend to find when there is mass catering the quality of food isn't as good but this was an exception. the food was full of flavour and there was a great selection of desserts. The portions were very generous and... More

This hotel was warm and inviting upon arrival. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. It was spotlessly clean , quiet and AC . Staff treated us very well. Offering suggestions for restaurants and sight seeing. Breakfast was also great. Would highly recommend this hotel. Jennie H

Just returned home from a 2 night stay at this hotel. The rooms are excellent, clean and very spacious. We booked 2 nights dinner bed and breakfast but if we were going again would book bed and breakfast only as the dinner menu in the restaurant was the exact same both nights and there seemed to be much better choice... Excellent smart hotel. Room was superb, warm, cosy and comfortable. Front desk service was first class. The dining room was the only let down. It looks great but the breakfast service was truly dreadful and at lunchtime it serves a carvery that makes the place feel like the canteen at Devenhams

Located in the centre of Waterford, right on the water, this hotel had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and spacious and the decor of the rooms and hotel were delightful. The service was also friendly and with a smile. There is a bar which serves food, but we didn't eat there, although the menu had a fair amount... More

This hotel is great value, right in the middle of Waterford City. The room was spacious and clean. Had dinner in the bar which was excellent and very reasonably priced. The breakfast staff are so nice. My 5 year old son was having a strop and did not want to sit at the table. The staff very kindly offered to... More

As a business traveller it can take me a long time (if ever) to find a hotel that I'm happy with. Some might class me as a bit fussy and particular, to be honest all I really need is a clean and comfortable room in a quiet part of the hotel, a bar or restaurant where I can feel happy... More

Stayed in the Granville for two nights in December 2014. The room was nice and spacious. The staff were excellent and very helpful. There was a lovely breakfast menu with lots of choices and we had dinner there and the dinner menu was also excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.
