The name Samuel's Heritage might lead you to believe that this is an ancient manor house modernized with 19th century plumbing. Nothing of the sort. Samuel's Heritage is in reality a boutique hotel, with specious rooms and the best equipped bathrooms we encountered in our three weeks in Ireland. Loved the shower. The property is on a gentle hillside, about... More

After showing us our room Susan made us feel very welcome by asking whether we would like some refreshments. We were served tea and homemade cakes. The room with a dedicated disabled bathroom was very suitable for our needs. We had a peaceful and comfortable sleep. The breakfast was excellent. Susan and Desmond were great hosts.

Everything was perfect. Great location. The room was perfect. The breakfasts were "to die for". The greetings were friendly and we felt right away at home. Susan's energy and Desmond great suggestions completed a fantastic stay at Samuel's Heritage.

This B&B had great communication leading up to our travels. When we arrived, all rooms were on the main floor, which by the end of our trip underestimated. While the B&B is a hair outside of town, it sits on the road that gives you a straight shot. If you want to have cocktails and want to take a cab,... More

Despite arriving late after a long day's driving, Susan made us most welcome with tea and freshly-cooked cake. We had a comfortable ground-floor room with great ensuite, ideal for my disabled wife. It was well worth the drive just outside Waterford for this idyllic, peaceful location with superb views over-looking the river. Breakfast was also very good, with freshly-prepared local... More

Susan and Des are the most welcoming people I have met in the hospitality industry and she is big on customer services. She could do more for us. We stay there for two nights with one night away at a fancy hotel close by for a wedding and I had wished that I had stayed in the B&B for the... More

Good choice of B&B located outside Waterford but easy access to parking for tourist attractions including crystal factory, viking triangle and bishop's palace Large comfortable motel style rooms with separate guest access and great view. Delicious home-cooked breakfasts, guest lounge with fridge, tea/coffee making facilities etc. Free parking up narrow drive - watch for oncoming traffic!

What a great B&B, just outside of city centre, shame we only stayed for 1 night. Susan and Des very welcoming, gave good tips about places to eat. Stayed in a really nice, large room with comfortable beds and plenty of toiletries. A fabulous breakfast from fresh fruit, yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice and, smoked salmon, lovely freshly baked scones... More

Lovely B&B just outside Waterford city centre, Susan and Des were wonderful hosts, very helpful, the rooms were huge and extremely well catered for, fantastic shower, and to top it all of guests have their own entrance and the use of a beautiful well appointed sitting room to use. The breakfast was amazing. I have never seen so much fresh,... More

Susan and Desmond were like family! So hospitable! Best of both world- Bb experience with hotel-like rooms. Great room, clean, updated and big for our family of 4. Breakfast was outstanding from the fresh squeezed oj to the homemade scones. Hoping the rest of r BB r as nice!.
