Mrs Powers offers demonstration cookery courses and so we were looking forward to great breakfasts during our stay. It is unfortunate that this was not to be. I stayed there recently with my husband and since the previous review, the standard of this B&B seems to have gone down. We were given the disabled access room at the back of the private quarters, which was fine with us. Powersfield House is about as close as you can get to feeling like you're at home when you're away. Eunice is a wonderful host, treating all visitors like family.
