After a fun day in sligo and on our way back to Ballina we decided to find The Beach Bar. we made our way thru the maze of small streets where street signs with directions were scant.. but how much fun was it when we found it! friendly , warm and just a great break! we only had a ginger... More

When we finally found this somewhat remote B and B, we were certainly impressed by the location. It is some distnace from Sligo. The little pub next to the accommodation is very appealing. We ate there for dinner and the meal was quite good. Our room was pretty small and it was rather hard to move around the tiny bathroom.... More

Small but good. Basic menu but food was great. Ate there a few nights and notticed portion size differed greatly. One fussy eater had chips and nuggets all week. One night that meant four nuggets and a scattering of chips while another night it was eight nuggets and a heap of chips for example. Even adult portions of ribs differed... More

This little cosy b&b is right on the beach. It's is very friendly and welcoming place to stay. Very good priced. Would highly recommended this place to anyone who wants to relax. The place is a bit far from sligo but it's absolutely worth a stay.

We were a group of 13 and travelled to the Beach Bar for an overnight surf trip. It was absolutely fantastic! Very reasonably priced for great quality. We surfed with Andy at the Beach Bar Surf School and as a band of newbie surfers everyone got on so well with the help of himself and Emer. Would highly recommend a... More

We spent two nights here on a whistle stop tour of Ireland in May. What a beautiful, friendly and comfortable place to stay. The B&b was everything thing we hoped for, the breakfast was delicious and Martina was so friendly and helpful, she made us feel right at home. We ate in the beach bar on our first night, the... What a find. We stumbled onto this amazing pub and b&b and much to our delight it was a fantastic find.. The location right on the beach is superb and the tiny Beach Bar is historic and charming. The b&b was warm and comfortable and the view from the bedroom window just stunning. Highly recommended.
