We stayed here for 4 nights in August, in our caravan, we checked in and then proceeded to find our pitch, which could have been anywhere we proceeded to drive around to look for a place, there didn't seem to be any order to the place, we weren't given a map or anything to show us where are options were.... I was nervous about staying here because of some of the negative reviews on here but I am glad I ignored them. The site is well drained which was essential in our tent in the wind and rain! The site is quite exposed, but well placed in waking distance of a play park, cafes, pubs, surf school, sand dunes and... More

The fact that the campsite is situated right near the sea makes it quite windy. However, it's nice to wake up to the sound of the waves! The campsite is well equipped, but you need to buy a token from reception to have a shower...a bit annoying when you only find out at 6 AM and the reception is closed!... More

The campsite is a good size with no static caravans. Good pitches and because near the beach it doesn't get water logged even in wet weather. Amenities are adequate. Park and tennis courts in site of campsite. Beach and sand dunes are 5 mins walk away and are stunning. Village has lovely atmosphere and has pub, cafes and surf schools.... More

Just back from staying for 1 night at this great campsite. Perfect location, right beside the beach and little village (with plenty of bars and restaurants) and even a little market on Sunday. We chose a hard standing pitch which had the benefit of parking on gravel and still having a good sized grass area to sit out on. Any... More

Lovely safe camping site for families. Was little apprehensive about going as this was first camping trip away from home as wasn't sure what to expect. But we had wonderful experience. Great facilities and very clean. We stay in tent area which was very safe and near toilets and washrooms. Will def be back.

We stayed here with our 4 children and a large tent, we had EHU and were in a lovely area of the site - a nice big square at the end of the site and opposite the all weather pitch. There is no pre booking or allocated pitch so its first come first served - we got here before lunch... More

Perfect setting. The site itself is tired looking. The owner is not a people person and seems quite rude, obviously in the wrong business. When my husband went to purchase shower tokens he was completely ignored by the owner who then proceeded to answer the phone and actually turned his back on him instead of dealing with him. There is... More

We visit this site frequently, this being our first visit this year. What can I say!! The site continues to offer a lovely, relaxed haven which we love. The facilities remain spic and span. The location is perfect, beside pubs, small shops etc, there is a new farmers market on a Sunday on the land next door. Very nice. The... More

Staff very amenable. Site is grass and hardstanding with or without mains drainage, a bit of pot luck where you can end up.Boss believes in a first come first served philosophy, management don't have any idea of vacant pitches, watched vans & mobile's go round in circles looking for vacant slots. Typical Irish site PAYG for showers (1.5 euro). All said... More
