While the location was handy for the village, less than five minute walk, it was extremely over rated for a campsite. Very expensive for pitching at tent - €20 per two people tent plus €5 for extra person, a night! Plus deposit for for fob, plus €1.50 for a shower!!! they should be free!! plus had to pay for electricity... More

Camped here on May bank holiday and liked everything except the wind blowing down our tent.

Arrived on Fri evening and was edirected to an overflow field with no electricity as all other sites were booked up and was told that there is no more electrical points. we have stayed in the strandhill camping park many times over the past few years and as many times as possible this summer, in the tent and in the campervan. The staff are great, the facilities are good and the location great, i cannot recomment it enough
