The hotel is in a good setting, just down the street from the Yeats house, close to the railroad station. We were there with a group of 43 for four nights, doing day trips, with breakfasts and dinners in the hotel. Breakfasts were the usual. The dining room is in the basement, and the tiny elevator conked out our first... More

Expected better. Rooms are dated, desk clerk uninterested. Had to lug two heavy suitcases up steps to gain entrance to lobby, later found sign that there was handicap access on the side of the hotel, but means have to drag bags into street up to side door which enters the bar area. Next morning, the door to the bar inside... More

An old hotel from the railway age making its way in the 21st-century. Noisy plumbing, dining room hidden away in the basement, local radio station playing in the bar to loud and distracting. Food just okay. Good live music on Saturday night. Good location, two minutes from the train station, five minutes from the town centre, good car park.

Arrived at hotel 9th May for 2 nights with my Mum, my sister and my daughter. Got 2 twin rooms. Rooms great , decor great. Reception area lovely, very well decorated and comfy. Had bar food on arrival and it was ok. Booked dinner in restaurant for evening and what a disappointment. Set menu €30 per head, no option for... More

This hotel is friendly and welcoming with a great lounge and a good bar. The location is close to the town centre and the hotel is a focus for the locals as well as tourists. The breakfasts are fantastic, probably the best sausages I've ever tasted and you can tell the quality of a hotel by the quality of its... More

Stayed here good Friday til saturday, at first very nice hotel and good value for money. However rooms were very warm 422. Kids hardly slept due to heat. Also very noisey at night which actually scared my child so much it took nearly two hours for her to get back to sleep. Then when checkout the took payment which I... More

I took a group of our elderly clients from our Day Care Centre for a two night stay early this month. Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful in every area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was excellent...good variety too. For the first time (having been to many hotels around Ireland with our group) each person that... More

Gave information about what Sligo has to offer. The room itself was superb. The hotel lobby has unique design. Great space to relax and the bar staff were so... More
