This was my second stay at An Daingean and it was as enjoyable and relaxing as my previous visit nine years before. The first time I had my wife and our then two young children with us. On this recent stay I and my nephew were in Sligo for a family wedding. Almost a decade later the experience was the... More

The best B&B I have stayed in. Great location, safe, easy 30min walk to town. Close to Hazelwood forest, Lough Gil and Parkes Castle. The rates are reasonable with discounts through internet bookings. The warm, bright, spacious rooms have the most comfortable beds. Pots of tea or coffee served with buiscuts are served on call throughout the day even though... More

Mary Hennessy is a gracious hostess. Her B&B is lovely and breakfast was delicious. She was most willing to help make a trip to Sligo a wonderful experience for her guests. Sligo Center is within an easy and safe walking distance from An Daingean. We highly recommend staying at An Daingean while in Sligo if you wish a comfortable, welcoming,... More

Stayed in this B&B last week with friends. Was in the area for a concert in Lissadell House. The nice people from the B&B drove to meet us with the keys as we were late arriving to the town and had no time to go to the B&B first. When we finally arrived to our room at the end of... More

Everything about my stay was brilliant. Very welcoming staff (and dog!). The room was perfect - clean and spacious and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic - could have kept me going for a week. Even helped me out with ideas for the rest of my trip to the West coast of Ireland. Would recommend An Daingean to anyone.

I found An Daingean on tripadvisor, and the reviews are spot on. The house is located within a short walk of Sligo. The hosts were gracious, the rooms clean and spacious, and the welcoming tea and the morning breakfast were delicious. I would stay here again should I return to the area.

This is a well located B&B convenient to touring Yeats country. Facilities are spotlessly clean and the proprietor, Mary Hennessy is a warm hostess. Full Irish breakfast is great.

My three friends and I had the chance to stay at An Daingean a couple of weeks ago, and could not have been treated better! We arrived very late, and never been to Sligo before, were hopelessly lost. Our hosts actually drove out to meet us in town and we were then able to follow them into the B&B. Although... More

A colleague and I spent a week at An Daingean as part of a study abroad program we directed. The Hennessys were wonderful hosts, always attentive to our needs and invariably cheerful and friendly. The breakfasts were plentiful, with several options. The location was also excellent, allowing for easy access to both Lough Gill and the city center. The B&B... More

Fantastic small b&b, easy 20 min walk to town centre and close to the Lough Gill and Parkes Castle as written about by WB Yeats. Very comfortable room and lovely breakfast with very friendly landlady. Plenty of off road parking. Very recommended
