We would highly recommend the Church view. Jacci is a wonderful host and nothing is to much trouble. The place is spotless and the rooms with en suite are very spacious. The Irish breakfast is a must with soda bread and endless toast. And with four real Irish pubs within a few strides is well located. There is car parking,... More

Dad and I stayed here as our second stop. Jacci was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The only Soda Bread we had the whole trip. Our en suite room was large and comfortable. Thanks for a great stop!

I stayed here with my husband while we were visiting friends near Sligo, our room was located on the gound floor and was very spacious, beautifully decorated and with a lovely bathroom, the bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. There's a lovely pub in the village which was only a minute walk and the village itself... More

I stayed here with my husband after I picked him up at the airport in Dublin (I had already been in Ireland for 2 weeks). I knew he would be exhausted flying from the west coast of the US so I picked a place about half way to where we were headed on the Irish west coast so we could... More

My husband and I stayed one night at Church View in September. We were given the ground floor room which was very large and had a big bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well-equipped, and the room clean and well-decorated. (Though, It doesn't have view.) Jacci was a great host and we enjoyed talking with her the next... Yes, it was open for crazy travellers on Christmas Eve and on 25th of December we were provided with tasty breakfast and Christmas hug. Potato waffles were really good. The room was big, I had a bath (!) in my bathroom. The room and bath room were exceptionaly clean.

We stayed here only one night, as we were traveling from Cushendall to Galway. Jackie greeted us and made sure we had all we needed. She pointed us to a wonderful little pub next door for dinner. The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice and warm (considering it was below freezing outside). If you choose to stay here,... More

My family and I stayed in Gurteen 2 nights in late July. Jackie was an excellent hostess. The room was comfortable, the food was good and the location was central for some local family type activities in the area. I would recommend this place to stay if staying in Sligo County because it is quiet, comfortable and convenient to touring.... More

Churchview was our first Bed & Breakfast we stayed at when we arrived in Ireland. Jacci was very accomodative in helping us get settled in after a long plane ride and jet lag. We napped soundly and then rose to walk around the quiet little town of Gurteen. Breakfast was wonderful. Very quiet, clean and tastefully decorated. Jacci always greated... More
