A lovely guesthouse 5 min walk from the town centre. I stayed in a "deluxe" single room (Room 10). It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was a double - very comfortable and plenty of spare pillows available. The ensuite was spacious as was the shower. Tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen tv included. The breakfast room is... More

If you get an upstairs room, there are is no lift. I couldn't say that the welcome was all that friendly. The rooms at the front are a bit noisy, as it's on the main road. Everything was clean except for the shower apparatus, which was quite moldy. Breakfast was OK.

I had been invited to give a talk to the Offaly History Society and was booked into the Sea Dew for two nights. First impressions are always important and the Sea Dew did not disappoint. The owners were very welcoming and I was offered a choice of rooms, all of which are modern, with en-suite facilities, tea/coffee making, free WifFi... More

Very nice Bnb with lovely rooms and a lovely breakfast. It is close to the centre of town on a large block, so convenient but nice and quiet at the same time. In addition, our very charming hosts were very helpful and were more than happy to post some belongings we left behind. Much appreciated.

A comfortable stay, close to town and services. Friendly and helpful host and lovely gardens. Breakfast was tasty and adequate for our day's travel. Just across the road from a large hotel for meals etc.

This delightful B and B is set well back from the main road in delightful gardens. Our room at the front of the house was very quiet. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. The delicious breakfast was served in a delightful conservatory like dining room. There was also a relaxing sitting room on the ground floor. The hosts were... More

We stayed in the separate little house. It was quiet, very comfortable and the proprietor was very helpful. The breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, fresh Juice , homemade brown bread and the usual huge Irish hospitality breakfast

June 2015. What can I say when a trip was perfect from start to end. Visiting Tullamore Dew Whiskey and learning the history of this town was just plain fun. I would not say people would naturally come visit this place, but for my family and myself, it was perfect and one of our highlights. Sea Dew help make our... More

The rooms were clean, bright and of comfortable size, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was just fine, everything was there: Full Irish, Continental, Cereals, Fresh fruit, Juices etc. Not much else to say since we were only staying one night.

We stayed in Sea Dew earlier this month, was perfect. Lots of parking for those that had a car. We arrived on the train and it was an easy walk from the train station. Walked to town during the day and again for dinner, breakfast was the best of many, rooms were bright, spacious and very clean. Hosts very friendly,... More
