The staff are great in this hotel, very welcoming and accommodating the room was very good, bed very comfy. Leisure centre is lovely, spacious, lots going on. I joined a class at no extra cost. You only get one towel for the pool and have to pay €1 for another, have to say I think this is a good policy... More

We were at a recent family wedding at this hotel and I can honestly say it's been a long time since I've encountered such faultless and friendly staff. They are the main selling point of the hotel. All seemed happy in their work and therefore happy to help in any way they could. Sometimes it is the little things rather... More

Just returned from the Hillgrove after a 1 night stay with 15 girls celebrating a hen party. Everything about it was excellent... the staff were very friendly & helpful & the food was 1st class. Great bar & great atmosphere & brilliant leisure facilities. We done a zumba class too as part of our hen party package & it was... More

I stayed at this hotel on Saturday and was extremely disappointed with the hotel. The hotel and the rooms are nice. It is a very busy hotel so if you are looking for a relaxing break it is not the place to stay. This was not an issue for us as we were there for a small hen weekend. The... More

Dear Denise O Firstly thank you for choosing to have your hen party here at the Hillgrove Hotel Leisure & Spa. I am sorry that there were some issues during your stay. You chose to have a treatment as part of your package but not the thermal suite which includes the Relaxation Room, Herbal Sauna, Monsoon Showers, Pedi-Spas & Hydrotherapy... More

My partner and I spent the last 3 days in the hotel, the staff were so welcoming and so nice. The decor in the lobby was really nice and fun and the rooms were really clean. The pool and gym are quite good, offering a good mix of equipment which you don't always find in hotel gyms. We had a... More

Dear Sorcha Many thanks for choosing the Hillgrove Hotel Leisure & Spa for your recent spa break. Thank you for your lovely comments about the spa, bedrooms and staff. I will certainly speak to the hotel proprietors regarding your constructive feedback regarding the positioning of the TV in the bedroom. The room you were in was a Mini Suite which... More

I booked myself and my boyfriend in for an over night stay in the hillgrove on the 13/5/15 , we were welcomed by a lovely lady who was a new member of staff and was a sweetheart I didn't catch her name. We were upgraded to a suite with 4 poster bed & fab bathroom with shower & bath. I... More

Have stayed in Hillgrove some years ago and had pleasant stay then as well. we were on our way back from Navan following a wedding and decided to stay the night in Hillgrove. The hotel is off the main road and you really need to know where it is. The hotel has the loveliest appearance on approaching it. The staff... More

We had a lovely Thursday/Friday night stay here and used the hotel as a base to visit the Titanic Quarter in Belfast (a must see). Approx 1.25 hour trip into Belfast, but could be shorter when roadworks in Armagh are finished. Rooms are very comfortable, food excellent in Bistro and Restaurant, staff most helpful and pleasant. Overall a great experience.
