Recently stayed at Ashleigh House for a hen weekend - the location was great, the rooms were like hotel rooms, the breakfast was lovely and the owners were very helpful and friendly - i would recommend Ashleigh house to anyone who is going to stay in Monaghan as it is as good as a hotel without being as expensive.

Excellent accommodation. Perfect location. Clean and homely with a gorgeous full Irish to set us on our way next morning. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when I come back to Monaghan. Thanks Anne

The B&B was warm and tidy and the staff were really friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were lovely, very welcoming and friendly, and very helpful. The B&B itself is small and comfortable. The rooms are more like a small hotel than a B&B, our room was En Suite, had a small desk, TV, phone,... More

I came along alone, from Italy, after a long journey in Monaghan. It's a lovely town, very particular but also tipical irish, a place for writers and movie makers and for people searching for love. I booked this b&b because they recommended it. They gave me the sweetest single room I have ever seen, it wasn't very big, but it... More

I liked the forniture, very cozy beds and pillows. The bathroom has a good shower. I just found the place a bit cold, we needed to ask to turn on the heater in the room. The rest of the building is cold as well. But the ladies were nice and very friendly 😊

We were there for the marathon. On Sunday they left out cereal etc, as we had an early start. Nice room, nice people. Good breakfast. Good value. You felt that you had been looked after. Even the Wifi worked. If I go again, this is where I will stay. Roger - Stevenage, UK

Ashleigh House is a great little B&B in downtown Monaghan. The building is snuggled on the one-way street of Dublin a short hop and a skip from the city center. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful, should you need anything, just ask. The place is clean and they have plenty of rooms for 35 Euro per person. Unlike most... More
