Recently stayed here with the cast and crew from Smashing Times Theatre Company. Absolutely loved it, very warm and homely feel, clean warm bedroom. Breakfast was superb, ticked all the boxes for me and the lady was very nice

A group of 5 actors stayed here recently on a tour with Smashing Times Theatre Company after performing at the nearby Garage Theatre. We were hugely impressed with everything - after arriving late we were greeted warmly, our rooms were ready and so warm and homely! We were offered use of the sitting room to eat our takeaway food, which... More

This is a quaint bed and breakfast located in the heart of Monaghan town in Monaghan County Ireland. This town is not typically frequented by tourists and the establishment likely has more visitors who are in town for business. It was comfortable and homey. We had the full Irish breakfast which was as always, good. There is a quaint pub... More

We tried to find something in Armagh, Northern Ireland on a Sunday evening. Not a chance there. So we drove on to Monaghan and spotted Ashleigh House while driving down the Main Street. They had a room that was spacious and seemed peaceful and the B&B has wifi, so we happily agreed to stay there. On the front, this B&B... More

This is a lovely, friendly, clean and modern B&B although you may not think so at first sight. The exterior is a little dated. Modern, clean bedrooms with en suites to rival any hotel room. Welcoming staff. Very conveniently located, withing walking distance of centre of town. Although it is located on the street there was little or no noise... More

We were in Monaghan filming across various dates from Dec 2011 - May 2012. Ann was very accommodating and most helpful, we were able to secure extra rooms at the last minute as the size of our party changed. The rooms were a good size and it was in a perfect location in the centre of town. For one shoot,... More
