We stayed at the Boffin Lodge at the very end of our driving tour of Ireland. During this two week self-guided tour we stayed in a range of B&B/Inns and Hotels. We chose the Boffin Lodge as it was written about in one of our guide books and it had fairly high ratings. We rang the bell to be greeted,... More

Lovely stay, very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Very unique bathroom in our room, attention to detail very impressive. Just a short walk from the town centre, also very close to the Westport House and pirate adventure park. the cheeky hens in the backyard provided entertainment at breakfast time. Thank you for the delightful stay.

Our first visit to Westport and despite some inclement weather we enjoyed the 2 night stay immensely. Our host at Boffin Lodge was most genial and couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. Perfectly located between the town and the quay our accommodation was well appointed and the excellent breakfasts saw us through until supper. Exceptional value for... More

This was a return trip to Westport after 3-4years, and this same B&B. Its a nice place .. slightly outside the town centre on the road to the quay; a 5-10min walk to quay and 15-20min into town. Parking for 8-10 cars at door should mean that all guests are happy. Good sized rooms with all extras listed; fresh milk... More

We stayed for three nights in the Boffin Lodge in Westport, Ireland. The price-quality ratio is just superb (at least during our stay in May, 2015): Only about 60 EUR per room per night for a very large and comfortable room to feel at home, very kind and helpful hosts, and a great breakfast which is included in the overall... If you are a walker, this is the place! We only stayed the one night: we were made very comfortable. Food excellent. Room was perfect. Had dinner in the city center (about a 20-minute walk). The next morning we walked along the harbor. Lovely. Intended to take the Crew Cruise, but it was closed. Unsure why. Clew Bay Research Center... More

We stayed at Boffin Lodge for three nights. We had a warm welcome. It is in an excellent position, being walking distance to the harbour and a short drive to the town centre. The room was cosy and comfortable, with a king sized bed and a jacuzzi bath. The underfloor heating was well appreciated ! The breakfast was outstanding, with... More

Cant recommend highly enough, its a lovely, clean, comfortable house in a great location only about 300 metres from beautiful Westport Harbour and a 15 miute walk into Westport itself. Patrick the owner could not be more helpful and will tell you the best places to go and see, he even got up extra early to cook me breakfast when... More

We have stayed in a number of hotels and B&B's in Westport over the years and I have to say Boffin Lodge was by far the best. More of a boutique hotel than a B&B, we received a warm welcome from Pat with an upgrade to a four poster bedroom. The room and bathroom were spotless as was the rest... More

We unfortunately only had one night to spend in Westport and wish it was longer. Boffin Lodge was a great B&B, clean, tidy, lovely interior. The breakfast room offered a wide choice including freshly squeezed orange juice. We really appreciated that fact the accommodation was pet friendly and was ideally located close to the Quay and 10 minutes into the... More
