Carrabaun House in Westport is absolutely beautiful with lovely antiques and a gorgeous wide stairway to the second level. Our room was spacious, very tastefully decorated and had a large window overlooking Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. After 14 trips to Ireland, I have a special place to stay in Westport, Co. Mayo. Carrabaun House owned by Francis and Angela Gavin is top on my list of favorite places.
