This is a first rate hotel with a very friendly welcome. Rooms are spacious, quiet, well appointed and very clean and the free movies were a bonus. The staff were brilliant and they could'nt do enough to make my stay memorable. The menu was varied and the food was excellent. ( I've stayed in Irish hotels for the past 5... More

Stayed overnight with 6 month old baby. Great room, quiet, comfortable, staff helpful and breakfast up to expectations. 6 months ago stayed also at sister hotel Castle Court next door, also worth a mention. Could not find fault.

We were attending a wedding in their sister hotel across the forecourt - The Castle Court hotel - we stayed in the Plaza as its a newer more modern hotel. Beds very comfortable -nice bathroom - plenty of towels - room warmer than I like normally but thats just my taste. Only thing I would be wary of is that... More

We have just returned from a midweek break (from Sunday to Wednesday) that included 3 nights B&B and 2 Table' d'Hote dinners in the Merlot restaurant. We arrived early on Sunday afternoon (2:30pm - check-in not till 3:30) and although our allotted room was not ready we were assigned a room of equal status straight away. The room was on... More

Would heartily recommend this hotel and its sister hotel the Castlecourt, on the same campus. Management are highly visible and the staff are most welcoming and spontaneous. Pity it is just a little pricy for our European friends - practically all the guests were Irish (and reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, it looks like not many Germans/French/Italians stayed there this... We booked the Westport Plaza for 3 days for a couples break thinking it was a boutique hotel with a spa as advertised on the website. It is not a boutique hotel with a spa. It is half a larger family hotel and wedged between that and a very loud nightclub, the main night club in Westport. It shares every... More

We were disappointed to read this review from this guest as we pride ourselves in our hotel our service and most of all our genuinely friendly staff. The Westport Plaza Hotel is an 87 bedroom 4 star luxury hotel in a convenient town centre location . We are located beside our sister hotel – The Castlecourt Hotel and Night club... More
