Unfortunately we only had one night at St Anthony's but enjoyed every minute of it. The location is terrific, the rooms pretty and clean, the internet connection awesome and the breakfast very good and traditionally Irish. David was very helpful with directions and recommendations in Westport and cooked a mean breakfast. I highly recommend this establishment, you won't be sorry.

It's been a while since my stay in St. Anthony's, but not long enough for me to forget the charm and natural comfort this one-of-a-kind B&B provided. The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the city center of Westport, a lovely bustling town with great music every night in various pubs oozing with Guinness. St. Anthony's is... St. Anthony's is located in easy walking distance to Westport City Center, which we found a definite plus. The accommodations and breakfasts were very good and the owners/staff very friendly and helpful when it came to seeking good places to dine. Off street parking is limited, which would be my only "complaint."

A group of us decided to visit Westport in an attempt to climb Croagh Patrick on Saturday 2 November and we wanted something cheap and cheerful as we didn't plan to spend much time in our accommodation. My sister picked St Anthony's having read good reviews online. It's in a great location with most of the pubs and restaurants in... More

A group of us stayed here on a saturday nght, the location is perfect for a stroll home from the castlecourt hotel (1 min) or a stroll up the town. Off Street parking. The accommodation is lovely, jaccuzzi baths, wifi, well maintained and cosy. The owner greeted us on arrival couldn't have been nicer, very friendly and went over and above... Hi thank you for your review of our B&B. We are sorry you felt that breakfast was only "adequate" We serve freshly squezzed orange juice (which is hard to get even in hotels) We also have a buffet and a selection of cooked breakfasts, we only use award winning butchers Kelly's of Newport for our meat and we serve homemade... We were road tripping around Ireland for 10 days and stopped in Westport to find a place for the night and climb Croagh Patrick the next day. I did not have reservations and because the first place I stopped had no one to answer the door, we went down the road a little further and found St Anthony's. I was... More

My friends and I stayed at St. Anthony's for one night in September 2013 on the recommendation of the proprietor of the B&B in which we stayed near the Cliffs of Moher. It has a lot of safe space for parking, so that was a definite plus for us, not having to park on the street. The rooms we had... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We are delighted you enjoy staying with us. I know the old china used for breakfast is lovely we deliberated getting rid of it to update and be modern but we like it too much so we will have to keep visiting antique shops looking for more! We really enjoyed our stay at St. Anthony's in July. This B & B has private car-parking and is located in a quiet but central part of the town. We had a spacious room with the luxury of a spa-bath, ideal after a day climbing Croagh Patrick. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed a good night's sleep on... More

We stayed at St. Anthony's for 3 nights on our recent trip to Ireland. Everything about it was ideal. We loved the location, our room, the breakfast, and the service. Westport is charming and a great place to use as a base for exploring the surrounding area, not to mention the outstanding restaurants and prolific pubs with "trad" (traditional Irish... More
