Perfectly reasonable and functional guesthouse in impressive building, very central location, but lacked those extra touches to make it a memorable stay. Quite pleasant staff, but relatively expensive compared to other B&Bs in the area and breakfast has to be ordered the day before, which is a distinct disadvantage. more

Firstly, the Boulevard Guesthouse is a wonderful property. Clean, spacious, great breakfasts (we were there 3 nights) - you can tell the owners really care about their product. Pleasantly surprised at the location - overlooking the river (with resident heron) yet less than two minutes walk from pubs, restaurants and shops. The shared space was tastefully decorated and filled with natural light. The room and accompanying ensuite were both large if a little sparse. Can recommend the cracking porridge for breakfast! We've stayed in this B&B three years ago, and again two weeks ago. And if we will be back in Westport, this will be our stay again. Nice location, very friendly hosts. It's a pleasure to stay here. more
