I stayed in Augusta Lodge for 3 nights and really enjoyed the stay! Place is a 10 min walk from town and David was really helpful in giving information about local restaurants, walks, sightseeing tours etc. The place had a lovely homely feel to it and was immaculately clean. The rooms were a great size with all necessities and very... More

We stayed at the Augusta for 3 nights with friends. As soon as we arrived Dave and Steph welcomed us with a smile. My husband and friend both smoke so Steph said that if one of them wanted we could change our allocated room to one with a patio so it was easier for them to have a cigarette. This... More

Augusta Lodge punches way above its weight in the guesthouse market. The rooms are a good size and nicely furnished, with lovely bedding, and great shower pressure in the bathroom, which is not always the case in Ireland. The hosts were lovely, providing us with a wealth of informaiton on activities and things to see and do. We followed their... More

Stayed at Augusta Lodge for 2 nights in Janurary 2012. It was by far the best accommodation we had experienced on our 10 day trip in Ireland. Having been welcomed and shown to our room by Dave, he then gave us advice on where to tour, where to dine, and the best pubs to sample guinness and Irish hospitality. Our... More

He also helped with advice on places to eat and which pubs to go to, which was very useful. Room was great and bed was huge. Breakfast was great and checkout time of 11.30am is... More

Our room has been the best on our trip through Ireland. It was very clean, big, quiet, very comfy beds, a very nice atmosphere in the B&B, very friendly and helpful owners and not to forget the good breakfast. I would def recommend this place to others. Thanks and sorry again for our really late check-in!

Perfect for the golfer who wants to play everyday. Plenty of courses to play and Dave will help you to choose the one you wish to play. Rooms were perfect.
