Westport is a beautiful place to visit in County Mayo, Ireland. Need a friendly place to stay? This B&B is a perfect! I was lucky to be there at the time of the All Ireland SemiFinal between Mayo and Kerry (a draw!). Adare House is well positioned to get all around Westport, by car or walking. Only minutes from the... More

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was comfortable with views across the mountains . It was an easy walk to town which had plenty of pubs and eating areas. Margaret and Christy were very friendly and helpful with ideas of what to do in the area. We would definitely stay there again. M & M Melbourne Australia

Adare House is situated halfway between Westport Quay and the town itself, right opposite Westport Woods Hotel. You can comfortably walk in either direction and reach the great pubs and restaurants this town has to offer. Margaret is a lovely host and the rooms and breakfast are both absolutely fine. No complaints whatsoever and I wouldn't hesitate to return here... More

Great B&B at good value. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms very clean and warm. Has a small car park at front which takes hassle out of finding car park. Couple very helpful and had great local knowledge.

Margaret greeted us at the door of Adair House and whisked us into the lounge for a snack as soon as we arrived. The house is near the peak of a hill so you have a wonderful view of Croagh Patrick, not only from the lounge(second floor) but from the dining room as well. The House is nicely situated between... We were welcomed by christy at the b&b on our arrival and given good advice on where to go for food and drink. Without asking we were offered the use of the private back yard to park our motorbikes which allowed us to have a worry free evening with the bikes out of sight. I missed the breakfast but my... Lovely stay, we stayed 2 nights Margaret was a great host. We received a lovely welcome, tea, coffee and great scones. The room was lovely and clean and the breakfast great. Nice lounge to relax in for the guests. Bonus that you could walk to the restaurant in the evening. We would certainly visit again! Angela ,Mike, Zofia & Roy.

My sister and I stayed at Adare House B & B, Quay Road, Westport (29th March - 2nd April) with our wonderful hosts, Margaret and Christy. We received a very warm welcome and Adare house became our 'home away from home' for our visit. The B & B is ideally situated less than 10 minutes walk to the town in... More
