Just back from a lovely break in this gorgeous little hotel in Castlebar with my husband and kids. We got an extremely good value 2 night deal. It far outweighed my expectations. Hotel was immaculate, very comfortable and food was delicious. The only drawback was the fact that it was on a very busy road with a 24hr garage across... More

Great location for a short break in the west. Friendly staff, very good buffet breakfast, free multi-storey car park for residents. Quirky decor throughout. Close to Castlebar main street and all shopping parts. If there is one downside, there is no atmosphere in the hotel bar at night.

I stayed with a group of friends in July 2014. The Hotel was reasonably priced and is within a 10 minute walk of the town center. There is a 24 hour garage across the road which is always handy. Staff at the front desk were friendly. The room was clean and adequately sized. Now the bad parts. We arrived down... More

We were in the West of Ireland in early July on a coach trip and stayed at the Harlequin,Castlebar for the four night duration. In our opinion the hotel deserves its 4 star rating. The exterior is fairly dated 60s style design, however the interior is beautifully furnished and well maintained, the rooms were likewise-large and comfortable. As we were on a bus... More

This hotel could be much better with even a little more attention to detail. The decor is imaginative and tasteful and the place is generally well laid out. Although it must be said the dining area seems a little small for a hotel of this scale. The building is situated in a quiet part of Castlebar town and has its... More
