Welcoming hotel. Girl on reception was very friendly and when my husband said it was our anniversary and asked if she could upgrade us, she was happy to do so. Lovely delux room which was warm, with a big bed. The corridors were quite. Breakfast was lovely and again the staff couldnt do enough for us. The overnight parking was... More

The shops are within walking distance which is great , no driving once u park, and parking is free, a big bonas, we ate in the lobby and it was very nice, breakfast was lovely and plentiful,... This was our third stay at The Harlequin, and it seems to have become our hotel of choice on our trips to the West of Ireland to visit family. I think this is because it is of a standard that meets our requirements, and consistently so. We are an active retired couple and we like peace and quiet and clean... More

This is a nice hotel, room was comfy and spacious, and the bed was comfy. The bathroom could do with bigger towels and more shower gels but that's minor. The layout of the lobby is odd. There's not really a bar as such and you kind of feel as though you're out of place having a drink in the lobby.... More

We stayed here over night for a show in Royal. The staff were very busy during check in, not overly friendly but got the job done. The lady on check-out during the Sunday morning was lovely. The rooms are fine, I wouldn’t have said 4 stars. Very decorative mirror in bedroom was grubby on the fussy part of the trim,... More

We stayed in Harlequin Hotel 2 nights and booked the hotel directly through Facebook claim offer which was only 99 euro for two nights bed and breakfast, which was a fantastic deal. ( also including 15 voucher for food- which appeared to be valid only for dinner, not afternoon tea or drinks in the lobby etc.) The room was very... More

Stayed here on a business trip. the lobby/restaurant combo just doesn't work, and the place does seem soulless. I've stayed here before as Castlebar gives you tragically little choice. The room was fine, though the facilities and bathroom were nothing to write home about. Adequate. The hotel does seem busy, again I don't think people have much choice and of... More

A pleasant stay with very efficient and friendly staff. Was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite with complimentary parking and wifi. Good hotel. Would have been perfect if room came with a trouser press or iron. But I will certainly return.

An unusual hotel, not at all like your normal Irish hotel. No proper bar. Reception, bar & dining room are all in the same space, separated by a couple of screens. Unless you wanted a full sit-down meal, light bites and snacks were only available in the reception area. Also as a result of this the smell of food and... More
