we stayed in this hotel as a family for our wedding anniversary, we had booked room only but the receptionist included breakfast for a nominal charge, rooms were spacious, hotel itself in great location, breakfast choices were as good if not better than anywhere in the continent

Just arrived to check in,woman at reception was very frosty when explaining check in times, was not offered to store our bags for when our room is ready. Overall bad check in due to unfriendly staff. Hoping thing improve when we return for our room keys.

Stayed in comfort for three nights and really appreciated the very inventive chef - nothing boring here, great use of more unusual vegetables, all dishes presented as the most artistic pictures. The hotel is at a roundabout on a busy road but don't be put off, the sound doesn't really intrude even with the windows open. It's beside all shops... More

Great central location handy for onward travel anywhere in the county. Located near copious amenities from petrol stations to supermarkets and a town centre with banks etc. Includes a very efficient and tasty restaurant menu. Tends to offer many deals - we had a dinner included which we were very pleased with. Interior well maintained. Exterior - is part of... More

Had my wedding here on July 3rd of this year, So happy we chose this hotel . The decor, the food, the little extras the hotel did to ensure our day went without a hitch. Loved it from the first time I walked in the door. They have to be the friendliest staff I have ever encountered, Martina and the... More

I hadn't heard of this hotel (or been to Castlebar) before, so didn't have any pre-conceptions. The hotel looked a bit "colourful" on the website, so wasn't prepared to be so impressed. First the staff - absolutely lovely. Particular praise goes to the staff who managed the breakfast buffet on the weekend - the hotel had coachloads of tourists, yet... More

We had booked in for one night and we were so happy with the overall service of the hotel we decided to ask to book another night. Unfortunately they were booked out but just as we were checking out they had received a cancellation. They gave us an amazing room. The staff in particular in reception were outstanding they helped... More
