I found out about Lough Lannagh by chance, when looking for accomadation neard the Theatre Royal in Castlebar. Lough Lannagh was a real find, literally 5 minute walk from the Theatre Royal and Castlebar town centre. The room was clean and functional with everything you need provided, they also have a residents kitchen were you can store or prepare food.... More

Just back from a 2 night stay in Lough Lannagh with a group. We had a great time. The venue is great for a stay with a large group. The staff was amazing. They were very friendly, helpful and hard working. Felt very comfortable staying here. I appreciated the access to the residence kitchen; it proved to be very useful.... More

I booked a room in this hotel at about 16:00pm for an employee to stay in the same night.(last night 13.10.2011) I received a call from said employee at 18:50 to say he is standing outside the "hotel" but the doors are locked and nobody is answering the phone. I finally got an answer on the phone at 19:30 and... More

I was in lodge rooms but actually the hotel includes also cottages. The rooms can be provided for 1,2,3 persons and couples. The rooms are clean, comfortable, with a hair dryer, TV and... More

I recently ran a huge family celebration in Ireland to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday. He had been training for 2 years prior to climb Croagh Patrick. Amazingly he accomplished that feat on August 3rd! We had over 75 people from the States and another 25 to 30 from Ireland and England based in Castlebar and Westport. About 60 of... More

This review is written as a review of Camping at Lough Lannagh. Visitors who are using a caravan / RV or staying in the village will probably have a different view of the resort! We arrived at 3 PM on a Saturday having booked camping several months in advance. The space booked was for hard standing (car / caravan etc)... More

Wow, this was a great resort, with picnic table at each house, nearby lake walk, free tennis courts, gym, Wifi, children's playground and lots of space. Lots of the cottages are detached and all are extremely well equipped with hairdryers and TV and en-suite in each room. Staff were extremely efficient and obliging, "that's no problem whatsoever" and we enjoyed... More
