A lovely period property, a little tired around the edges We were greeted by a roaring fire which was not exactly needed for heat but was very welcoming. Our room was in the newer wing which was a long walk from reception. Breakfast was excellent - an enormous choice of breakfast cereals, fruit, yogurt and bread. Very good selection of... More

We stayed here at the end of March. I had a conference in the main hotel and luckily got a room there too as many were in the Woods across the way. The Woods was only open for one night but is a stones throw away from the other. Our room was in the original hotel. At first we had... More

My wife and I stayed for one night on a room discount deal during a short tour of County Mayo to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Whilst we could not fault the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful, we did find the hotel had a general air of being in need of a make over. Our room was very spacious... More

Having wanted to stay in this hotel for years my husband booked it as a surprise for a visit in the middle of February. We arrived in the snow. We were very disappointed in the sparse nature of the bedroom and the very plain white tiled bathroom, with shower over the bath with a very worn whitish curtain (which had... More

I stayed in this hotel as part of a large group in early March. We were travelling quite a long distance and the weather was cold and wintry,so a good dinner was as important as comfortable lodgings. The latter didn't disappoint. We [two of us] were given a lovely large room which was perfectly heated and though quite near the reception area,was... We spent a weekend in this hotel & as the heading says, we have no complaints @ all... We had an interconnecting family room which was spacious, really clean & completely functional... The food was also good and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly & helpful... We found this hotel to be very child friendly, down to the fact... More

We had a most enjoyable and relaxing 3 night bank holiday (March 2014) stay in Breaffy House. Our room was large and comfortable and the food in both the restaurant and bar was really nice and reasonably priced. The staff were at all times friendly and willing to help. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool where we renewed our interest... More

I was involved in the cheerleading event in Breaffy last weekend i have to say I found the place to be very clean and reception staff to be very friendly but I feel I have to write and explain my headline My daughter is a dancer and for a treat I decided to get her nails polished and painted on... Stayed at Breaffy again last weekend, this time in the Woods Hotel. The hotel was spacious, as was the room, and the room was lovely and warm. There was a good buzz about the main hotel, with couples of all ages, and families with children, all enjoying their Valentine's weekend. The staff are all efficient and friendly, so can't ask...
