Hotel is stunning on the outside with lovely grounds and with a relaxing athmosphere. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the bar staff are amazing. Hotel is 95% there just needs a few touch ups but my room is amazing and the bed is so comfy. You get much more than you would expect for the price. Lovely hotel and... More

Booked a girly spa weekend to get away from kids, stress, work etc. The website depicts this as a high class luxury resort. It most definitely is not. This is more suited to family breaks. The bar is tiny, and had no atmosphere. The bar in Breaffy Woods was bright and full of the stoic calls of bingo numbers (on... More

Currently staying here for the past 5 days cannot recommend it highly enough. Very comfortable rooms and beds, first class food in restaurant and bar food also, good value for money, and last but not least extremely helpful and mannerly staff. Will be back again and will recommend it to family and friends.

Had high hopes for this place given the price and the pictures of the exterior but it was just "ok" which was a bit of a let down. It was clean, and the food and staff were good. However, check in was a bit chaotic (with rooms not available even well after the appointed check in time) and the rooms... More

Our family decided to have a weekend at this resort whilst visiting Ireland. The hotel is in a very grubby state and staff appear to be untrained local trainees. The place is shambolicly managed to such an extent that the little details not done are glaringly noticable. The food is very 1990's style fodder served up by uninterested waiting staff... More

Stayed on a coach holiday . Grand old house , lovely huge room , dinners fine and breakfasts excellent , just ask for the full Irish . Waiting staff mainly young and pleasant . Barprices a bit dearer than the pubs , but quite acceptable euro 4.90 for pints of bulmers and heineken , 4,60 for excellent guiness and a... More

We stayed there at the start of august. There was a bit of confusion with us having to change the dates on a gift voucher, but we were sorted out easily. The food was lovely and the staff, especially in reception and in the kids club were fantastic. Only down side is that it is 90% of the way there,... More

My family and I had a great time in Breaffy House Hotel in August this year. There are great facilities for children. The games room is in need of regular maintenance though as half of the machines didn't work. They would also need do review their customer service. I was checked in by an indian guy. I had booked a... More

This was a mini family break for 5 adults. Be warned, the website is extremely misleading! Pictures look good and the blurb reads well and I must admit the drive up the avenue presented an impressive building but that's just about it....a beautiful facade that just doesn't follow through. On check in the lobby was teeming with a group of... More

We booked this hotel for a romantic weekend away-got a great deal for two nights, B&B, use of leisure facilities and spa treatment each and main course one evening. Upon arrival, the hotel had a very romantic feel to it, the grounds expansive and great for a walk (which we found ourselves doing just to see the horses). The breakfast... More
