After reading all the reviews on here, I was so worried about our stay at the Breaffy resort - what a surprise!!!! We stayed in one of the lodges - couldn't believe that they are also cleaned daily!!! - we had a problem with our fridge - rang the reception and a lovely little lad by the name of Darren... more

We had a family wedding in Breaffy house on the 5th June. The total services was superb. Breaffy House is on a beautiful setting, but it’s even better when the quality and efficiency of the staff compliment the quality of the surroundings. The dining room was very impressive and beautifully laid out for the wedding party. Guest were very complimentary... more

I recently attended a wedding at this hotel & have to say I was suprised because it was very nice. Tasty food & great day/night! However I also had vouchers for the spa at this hotel (from last year), but couldn't use them because there was a fire on the premises. I called the hotel 4 times over a 5... more

We enjoyed the country environs of the hotel, the comfy sitting areas in the lobby and library, the hotel bar in the evenings. We did however have some plumbing problems that unfortunately were not fixed during our stay, although we alerted the... more

I was a bit apprehensive about booking into any Lynch hotel after our experiences in their sister hotel in Kilkee last year, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by what Breaffy House Hotel had to offer. The hotel itself is based about ten minutes outside Castlebar town in beautiful woodlands with some open park space. The... more

Just back from a 2 night stay in the sports hotel. Given previous negative reviews on here, i felt i had to write about my own experience at this complex. I was down for a conference and both hotels were booked out with this and another conference, therefore I had expected lower standards and poorer service, given the numbers the... more
