Stayed here for a one night get away. Asked specifically when checking in for a quiet room as we had a night off from the kids and would be asleep pretty early. the room we were given was very badly laid out, to start with. Looking at the floor plan it looked like it was stuck in to fill some... More

We stayed here in May, a family room, 2 adults and 2 children. The room was very large and it was spotless with a view of the river. No complaints there. However, while we were there, on both nights, the bar and restaurant were booked for private functions. We were therefore relegated to a room on the mezzanine level with... More

Dear Guest, Many thanks for once again staying at the d and apologies for the discomfort you experienced. We would have been more than happy to change the music if you had made us aware it was so annoying to you. Thankfully you were made aware in advance prior to your visit that the bar and restaurant would be closed... More

We ate here as a post Wedding meal for friends & family who were already staying here. The food tasteless, service extremely slow, inexperienced Staff and poor customer service. Prices were not value for money and the choice limited. Children's meals all came at different times veg came out 15mins before main courses and we cancelled our desserts as it... More

I was all prepaired for a wonderful break away here at this hotel. It has a great location and great decor. I was also luckly enough to get a great deal for my Girlfriend and I. We were on the "pigs back", so to speak. But, what should have been amazing was a tremendous let down. Before arriving we had... More

I have actually been driven to writing this while in the bar at the D Hotel. I will write a full report of our stay at a later time, but any enjoyable aspect has been entirely obliterated by an absolutely horrible evening in the bar. On arriving in the restaurant, we noted a table of 14 children under approximately 9... More

We stayed at this hotel prior to a wedding in Ireland. Staff very pleasant but as this hotel seems to cater for young people and lots of hen/stag nights the noise was unpleasant. It was a very busy hotel. Tables outside at the front meant that they sat smoking until the wee small hours and although we were 3 floors... More
