This B and B is an easy drive to Dublin airport. We had an early morning flight and Angela left pastries, fruit and cereal out for us. She even left us a cooler with orange juice, milk and yogurt. I needed gluten free food and she had gone shopping to make sure there was gluten free cereal and bread for... More

My family and I spent our first four days in Ireland within Angela's home. Warm, inviting and very charming; the experience was wonderful. We were rather sad to leave. The beds and pillows were wonderful! There is great care and consideration involved in taking care of guests. Personal detail is also given for breakfast orders and quick service as well.... More

We spent one night in Killowen House. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful with suggestions about local sites to see. The location is very convenient to NewGrange and Monasterboice -- both of which are worth a visit. Breakfast was a traditional Irish breakfast, but particularly well done and presented.

A lovely, large home in an exclusive neighborhood. Recent rains had caused cherry blossoms from surrounding trees to blanket the property - looking like pink snow. Our room and en-suite bath were very large and so nicely decorated. Full Irish breakfast offered in a beautiful dining room with view of the huge rear yard and garden. Mrs. Angela Kerrigan, the... We were at the Killowen house for two days in May. The rooms were very nice, spacious with a great bathroom. Very clean rooms. Angela was a very knowledgeable host and recommended the Black __ Grill up the road which was excellent. If you are exploring the area and want to run into Dublin there is very convenient train service... More

Killowen House. Drogheda. A large and spacious room and bathroom, which was most welcome after the limited room size we had experienced at some other B&B's. Rooms were very clean and pleasantly decorated. Most importantly, a great heater warmed the room quickly – important for shivering Aussies. Hostess Angela is gracious, very kind and helpful. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and... More

My wife and I spent a night with Angela on our recent trip to Ireland. Her welcome was typically Irish - happy to see you and offering anything she had to make our stay more enjoyable. Perfect location for enjoying the surrounding wonderment of Irish history. Great base of operations for Monasterboice, Newgrange, Hill of Tara, etc. You can *not*... More

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting family in Drogheda and we did have a car. This property is a beautiful large home. Yes, there are signs for payment and water, thats expected when online is the booking choice and when you arrive is your first communication. Angela is wonderful. Great B&B with friendly owner. Nice and big rooms. Great breakfast. The only negative point is that the B&B is outside the city and not in walking distance to the sights and restaurant. But it is a great spot to visit the boyle valley with newgrange, monasterboice etc.
