The B&B was clean and comfy. It's homely. It's great value for money and the breakfast is delicious. When staying in a B&B for a cheap price, I don't have any expectations except a clean bed and shower. What makes a B&B special for me is the hospitality - Ken was extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our... More

The owner is a gentleman, couldn't have been better, great breakfast, food on demand and a great location to explore thomond park, the university of limerick museums and other great things (nightclubs) in Limerick city

We stayed here for 2 nights when we down for the Springsteen gig, The B&B feels like you're home from home & was great value for money. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast was beautiful and the host Ken is a true character, really couldn't do enough for us. The B&B is just a 10 minute walk to the... More

Stayed 2 nights in July 2013. Not the fanciest place but Ken and Nuala are perfect hosts and we were rarely in our rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable and larger (in my opinion) than the average B&B room. The bathroom was huge! Although my room faced the street, it was very quiet. We loved spending time chatting with... More

Since I booked the room, Mr. Ryan showed to be a true gentleman: he offered to collect me at the bus station upon arrival. I was there for two nights: the property does not seem to be very new, yet I think some maintenance to enliven the decor would make it very good. The room was clean and spacious, with... More

Ken was very nice and he is a Master Chef, so the breakfast was good. The room was small, but workable. The beds are fairly hard, so that could be better. But the place is clean and it was a good value. I think I got an Irish discount - see it helps being Irish in life. This is a... More

Hard bed, small cold room, no hot water, dining room was freezing for breakfast, asked for scrambled eggs & toast for breakfast but got a fry with scrambles eggs, yoghurts were 4 days out of date. This B&B really could do with a womans touch.

We arrived after dark, in the snow. The owners graciously advised us places to walk to for dinner. We chose to stay in and eat things we had with us. He had been a master chef, so our breakfast was wonderful. We were only here one night, the next morning off to Bunratty Castle (10 - 15 easy minutes drive)... More

We stayed in 8 B&Bs over a 10 day period. Our experience at Armada was among the most personal. We took the time to talk to the owners and found out so much more about the area and about them than just treating them as hotel managers. The house was not the fanciest place we stayed but the owners made... More

Small room, old worn beds, doesn’t look clean. Small shower didn’t drain requiring to stand outside it. Nice people
