My recent stay in Limerick was a real get away from it all experience as my friends and I treated ourselves to a night in the Marriot in Limerick (recently under new management I believe which is evident). From start to finish, we felt like the girls in SATC as we entered the plush foyer of the hotel. We were... more

Stayed here 4 times in the last few months. Lovely hotel with the best staff I have ever encountered. Efficient, friendly and attentive. Not the greatest food around but Hamptons Bar and Grill which is next door and now part of the hotel is very good. Rooms at the front can be a bit noisy especially at the weekends. Would... more

This hotel is in a great location, in the middle of Limerick City centre. Staff weren't very helpful, but as it was the morning of the Munster 1/4 final, it was busy. The rooms are of 4 star standard. Nothing about this hotel would suggest 5 star accomadation. more

This hotel is truly amazing, there is complimentary valet parking which makes you feel special before you even arrive in the doors, the staff were so friendly right from reception to house keeping. We had an amazing two nights in this hotel, on the first we dined in the savoy restaurant which had superb service and the food was exquiste... more

Having just stayed in the Marriott, I can only say that it needs a little more work to make it a true 5* property. This little bit of work needing to be concentrated on is its staff. The bedrooms are flawless and are of a 5* standard. The decor is ambient and suits the property well. Bars and Restaurants well... more

Stayed the one night in Limerick and this Marriott is true to the formula. Nice room, big bed and a good bathroom, with access to the gym and pool/sauna. Staff weren’t that great and could have been more approachable/helpful. Location is also pretty ordinary. Opposite the shopping centre bus stop is a bit rowdy and the local boy racers like... more

Great hotel, fantastic location in the centre of town, but on a quiet (ish) street opposite Dunnes Stores.. Service was really great from the time we arrived. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and it felt genuine - not the usual forced smiles you normally get.. myself & my pal had a twin room, beds were extremley comfortable - didnt want... more

Myself and my husband stayed the Saturday and Sunday night of the October bank holiday weekend at the Marriott Limerick. Overall the experience was very good, however I had one major problem with the stay. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor (which is the first floor with bedrooms) directly over a meeting / function room. This was... more

My wife and I stayed at the Marriot Limerick for only one night as part of our trip to the western part of Ireland. After travelling from Dublin, it took us a while to get to the hotel since it was late on a Friday afternoon and apparently, Limerick's traffic is worse than New York City's! Check-in was great. There... more

I stayed here last year and had no problems whatsoever, we got a good deal and brekkie was included. It was absolutely superb, so I was looking forward to my next visit . . . . . . . On my second visit as I pulled in, a lovely gentleman looked after the car and bags, great as always. Check-in... more
