Great hotel, I organised for 20 cyclists on route from Cork to Galway to stop for lunch. they organised secured underground parking for bikes and support vehicle. Yvonne from the hotel took the lunch orders in advance and had our food available exactly when we needed it (even changed the booking time when we were running early). Food was served... More

The hotel is great, think W or Indigo but minus the noisy guests. Has a boutique feel. The rooms are spacious enough, easy access around the building without the tight turns and repurposed spaces I've seen in other Irish hotels. Good location and nice river views in the rooms. No tubs in the bathrooms but I prefer that myself. Parking... More

Thanks for the overall positive feedback. Its fairly special to be compared to a W or Indigio property. We know parking is not ideal but we are the only hotel in limerick city centre with any free parking at all. We have over 45 spaces and with the carpark across the road we do have 24 hour access via coded... More

Lovely hotel, very central location to the city centre on the river shannon. Stayed in a suite overlooking the river. The restaurant serves very good food and the staff all round are very helpful and nice. There is off street parking also.

I am from Limerick but have lived in the UK for the past 10 years. I came home for the Easter holidays in April and spent two lovely weeks catching up with friends and family. I went out to many restaurants in that time. As far as lunching in Limerick is concerned, this hotel served the best lunch I had... More

Highly recommend staying at this hotel! The décor of the hotel and rooms are gorgeous, very simplistic but clean and spacious. The outdoor area by the bar is stunning as it sits on the river. All staff here are beyond friendly and helpful and were extremely accommodating during our stay. The only problem you may encounter is finding a parking... More

After several days traveling in Ireland staying in grand historic hotels in historic towns and villages the Absolute hotel was a welcome change from all things old...castles, ruins, etc. The modern design throughout the hotel ,the rooms, the public areas well above average. The modern theme was evident in the room furnishings....decor...lighting and amenities, looking for a break from stone walls and old... More

Stayed for a week when back home in March. This is a really good hotel. The staff were courteous and efficient. The room was superb with a beautiful view out over the river. The bed was almost to comfortable, it was a struggle to get up one or two mornings. I had to work while staying and the wifi was... More

We stayed there for two nights. Clean spacious room. More parking than some reviews indicated. Staff were great at directions!! Slightly hard to find the first time--but then we were always going past it. Would stay there again very convenient!

We stayed here for 1 night for the Munster v Connaught Rugby match recently. We really liked the hotel and even got upgraded which was a nice surprise at no extra cost. Receptionist was very friendly and staff very helpful. My only comment would be that the dining room seemed like we were sitting in the bar - no table... More
