A very comfortable bed in a large modernistic room with excellent shower. On-site parking and restaurant. The morning breakfast was extensive but the lovely room was extraordinarily hot. The staff were very friendly.

The Absolute was a great hotel. Very modern and well designed. It is in an excellent location that is within walking distance of all the local attractions, shopping, and dining. I will definitely stay there again when we return to Ireland. And the staff was very gracious and accommodating.

I arrived late due to travel hassles. A warm and friendly welcome at 23:10 was a very good start. Large rooms, excellent shower (but no bath). No noise issues. Food really good, especially the scone I had right at the end of the stay which was as good as home made. So top marks to the chefs too. If I... More

Had an overnight stay at this hotel last week. Very positive experience, hotel room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We booked a triple room, comprising of two single beds, and a fold out sofa bed, which my 11 year old slept comfortably on. As it rained on the evening of our stay, we decided to dine in the hotel restaurant.... More

Great room, nice view to the canal. Very clean. Only negative point is that there was no curtains on shower which makes it hard not to have water all over the bathroom. Good breakfast with lots of options.

Stayed for 2 nights over a bank holiday weekend. Rooms were nice, bright and clean. The glass door on the bathroom was a bit strange though. Good location, close to the city but not noisy at all. Good value for money. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat here.

Parking is under neath the hotel but can only be accesed by buzzer which rings the front desk who then in turn open the gate (patience is needed as we had to walk... More

Located 5/7 walk from O'Connell st and King Johns Castle this is an ideal location. Limited parking on site (more 2min walk). The hotel is sited beside the shannon. Lovely views of river and part of city and Clare hills from 4th floor. Look for rooms not overlooking the busy road. The food Breakfast and dinner was good value and... More

Firstly I have never written a poor review for a hotel before and I travel very regularly. Just got back from a stay at this hotel. First impressions were fantastic- we had paid for a river view and our 2 rooms on the 5th floor did not disappoint. They were very large for standard rooms and well- furnished. However, on... More

First off Sorry. I really am disappointed we impacted your stay so much. This is the exact opposite of what a hotel should do and I accept that. Im really disappointed to see that your experience with us regarding the spiders caused you to write your first poor review. It is clear that there were spiders outside the window on... More

I enjoyed our stay here. Very nice hotel. Rooms were very large and we had a nice view of the river. Bar area was very nice. Nice dining room. Small gym. Food was pretty good. I would stay here again.
