I was here with my girlfriend in April 2008 - the room cost about €100 and I would say it was worth it. This is a girls get away hotel for shopping. Stayed here for a night with another friend. We shared a twin room, had a lovely meal and breakfast the following morning. We only stayed one night (our last night before flying back to the US) and picked it because it was close enough to the Shannon Airport to be convenient and less pricey than the hotels closer to the airport. We stayed here during the mid of November 2007 for 5 nights. Although the hotel declares that it is situated at O’Connell Street which is correct BUT the entrance is actually from the Lower Cecil Street. Further--as per usual--to reading the previous reviews,we decided to book the George Boutique in Limerick and we were not disappointed.Central position off OConnell Street,which has the main shopping street.Bedrooms were very nice indeed,cleaned every day.Good decor. When we arrived we realised there was no car park however the hotel has a deal with local multistorey Howleys Key so it is free to park from 6pm to 8am but then its €1.30 per hour.
