I stayed only for one night. The owner Helen was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was good and it is located very close to city centre just behind the Strand Hotel. The room was clean. This is all the positives about the place. Saying that it is basic, in the case of the attic converted room that I stayed... More

Very close to Limerick city centre and main attractions in town. Everything was okay even as arrived later than expected (10pm), Helen welcomed me. I was in room 1 which was a bit cold (good thing there were radiators) and lacked a kettle. Room was enough for one night. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Vegetarian option available.

After another day of learning to drive on left side of the road and following my GPS, I easily found Helen's B&B. The parking is very sparse, but I planned on leaving the car parked for my 3-day visit anyway. Glen Eagles is so close to town that I didn't need it! The rooms are small, but each has its... More

Checked in to this B&B and everything looked "OK", until we pulled the bedspreads down to reveal dirty sheets, even a hair on the bed! Carpets are dirty on the stairwell and in the room. Parking is crazy because it is a one way in, back out driveway, so the first car in cannot leave if the other people are... More

We were staying in Limerick for 2 nights for a friend's wedding and were delighted at the proximity of the B&B to the town centre and the Strand hotel. Helen was extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough to recommend restaurants, arranging a taxi for us and providing a map to find our way around. The room we were in, however,... More

You can't get much closer to everything you need. If you are looking for fancy/perfect/mind-blowing, this is not your place. However, if you are looking for a bed in an amazing location that includes breakfast...This is your place.

Stayed here for a Munster match last year. Great location but that's it. Service was standard. Breakfast was poor, 1 slice of toast/small cup of tea/1 sausage/1 egg/1 pudding, Much better value around id imagine. Wont stay here again

We were visiting Limerick for the Great Limerick Race May 5 and were so happy to get a B&B so close to the starting and finish line. Helen is an amazing Host, very kind and fun to chat with. She joined us at breakfast for a chat which was nice. She was very kind to let us keep our car... More

This B&B is perfectly situated for walks into Limerick, which is why we chose it. We arrived at the Shannon airport very early...and stopped by to drop off our car/luggage and were then going to walk to a cafe and have breakfast/coffee. However, Helen (proprietor) fed us and allowed us to go upstairs to our room early and catch a... More

Helen, our host, is a wonderfully chatty host! She gives great suggestions on places to eat and places to see- even after your stay in Limerick. She definitely makes you feel at home. We stayed in a small room (which never bothers us) at the top floor. This gave us quite a bit of privacy, which was nice, and a... More
