After getting married here last year myself and my wife came back for our anniversary, after hearing great things about they're award winning restaurant I was excited. The first issue I had was the menu was very, very limited, there was only 4 choices of main course and two of those choices were fish, my wife wanted to order the... More

I stayed in a junior suite on level 1 and it was simply amazing. Staff were great, food was lovely, hotel was spotless and the suite was amazing. In a great location, town is literally across the bridge. The hotel is so comfortable and modern. I would definitely recommend booking a suite, it is well worth it with access to... More

After traveling for more than 8 hours from Boston, this was the first property I stayed at in Ireland. It is in a great location on the Shannon River. The rooms were nice however the air conditioning in my room was not working & could not sleep well even thou I was exhausted from traveling. The food was great -... More

Stayed in a triple room for a week, had nice view of the castle and river although it was a side room - lovely breakfast, nice pool/spa, superb staff thoughout really, although reception staff could have been a bit happier, didn't eat in the restaurant as we had pre booked Freddys Bistro (which is an absolute must) and other restaurants... Our room was at the end of the hallway. I always ask for a quiet room away from the elevator and ice machine. This room was both and very large - room for two love seats and a coffee table and a king bed. The hotel is situated over the bridge from the "town" which means it's pretty quiet at... More

I stayed at the Limerick Strand on the last night of our honeymoon having traveled from Donegal to Limerick along the coast over a week. It was without doubt the best night, the staff were so professional and friendly. We had mentioned at the time of booking online that it was our honeymoon and when we arrived we were upgraded...
