We were a bit shocked at the poor quality of this hotel. It was in a grungy area next to a scrap metal dump on the River Shannon. No one greeted us upon arrival so we carried our own bags up the steps to check in. We were told to park our car in a nearby parking garage ourselves. The... more

i thought this hotel was particulary nice, the food was lovely and the staff very friendly., i would have no problem recommending the clarion to family and friends. parking is a problem tho something the management need to resolve. more

A place where I was treated like a common mug. Room was not clean nor was it cleaned for our second night stay untill we asked. food not great . Staff very unhelpfull. NOT an enjoyable stay at all. No room for redemtion or second chances for this hotel or any oher clarion more

I was excited to stay in this hotel a single room was E145. and i thought it would be lovely experience. The room was tiny there was big stains on the carpets (previous floods from bathroom) . The Clarion cannot be faulted on service and food. All the staff were extremley courteous and more than willing to assist and advise. Good sized room, poor view (unless you like the docks and recycling operations). Bar food just OK. Parking a little difficult: if you miss it, you've got to circle the block. more

The views from this Hotel are exceptional built on the river it has a very unique design tallest hotel in ireland what a fantastic setting to look out the windows inj the morning and see the beautiful swans below your room. Definitely worth a stay if you are in limerick. more
