My sisters and I were visiting my daughter at the University of Limerick. I am writing to commend the staff on their friendly and helpful service. As we only had 2 days in Limerick and no car, they helped us make arrangements and transportation and we were able to make the most of our short visit. Thank you, Tommy and... more

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here at the weekend and were not impressed. I had considered complaining to the management but after the staff actions i dont think we would get anywhere. Firstly, the hotel seems to have 2 different websites quoting different prices. After booking the room i upgraded to an executive room - dont do this (it is... more

It is some time since we stayed in this hotel but I thought I would add this review anyway. Plus points: Staff very friendly and helpful, bar food was reasonably good and well priced, nice lobby area to sit down in while waiting to check in or just to relax with a paper. Minus points: Our room (smoking) was right... more

After my last review of the Kilmurry Lodge I was invited to discuss my issues with the general manager there. he outlined his concerns over the comments I entered and outlined how the hotel, its owners, and managers are striving to improve the performance of the hotel in all aspects. I am delighted that he took the time out to... more

I found this hotel to be friendly and comfortable and really enjoyed our 1 night stay. The grounds are very attractive and well kept and the ivy covered exterior walls add to the ambience of the hotel. We paid E99 for the 1 night including breakfast having booked it some time in advance. I would definitely recommend this hotel and... more

Be mindful of the price you pay here! My friend and I had driven from Dublin to Limerick and pulled into the property on a whim because it was the first we saw and it was 10pm. The front desk agent quoted me €100 for a room with two beds. I wasn't sure I wanted to pay that much since... more

We had a wonderful long weekend here in February, with our family ranging in age from 51 to 16. We arrived very late on the Friday night and were made very welcome straight away. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the chef cooked me a special vegetarian option on the second night. Breakfast was great and there was... more

Arrived on a friday night and found the receptionist very uninerested in our being there. ate dinner and breakfast in bar and would not eat there again. steak was horribly overcooked and chips arrived after our plates were almost empty. Breakfast was hardly cooked in the mornin. The bedrooms were fine only that we could hear everything going on in... more

food was a disgrace at this hotel overall. everything was slobbed onto our plates for every meal. no presentation or effort put in at all. my lamb was ice cold, we asked for sauce on the side the chicken came out swimming in the sauce very annoying! drinks would not arrive till the main course. In house movies waist of... more
