Spent 2 nights at the Limerick TL. It was centerally located. On the outskirts of Limerick, but convienent to the Cliffs of Moher, Galway and Central Ireland. This is a budget motel so dont expect alot. It was clean, the staff were helpful and you can get an early check in for 10 Euro's, after a long overnight flight the... more

We stayed two nights at the Limerick TL. We would have left after the first night but our Travel Agent booked it. It was the most "basic" place we have every stayed. It was clean. There were towels and, hot and cold water the bathroom . However, there are no night stands,(we used a plastic chair). Good place for people... more

The hotel was not located near downtown Limerick, but it was great value. They do not provide shampoo, so be sure to bring your own. more

We stayed at the Travelodge the night before a flight from SNN. The room was quite large (compared to B&B rooms anyway!), furnished nicely and clean. The plumbing all worked. I did see what appeared to be a cigarette burn on a chair but to me, this comes along with the very low "no frills" cost. As previous reviewers have... more

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Travelodge UK few times but the one in Limerick surprised us completely. We made our reservation via Travelodge website 3 weeks in advance as they had a superb offer of 39 euro per night! It took us just 15 minutes to get to the place from Shannon airport. On arrival we were welcomed by... more

Excellent one-night location for those leaving from Shannon early in the morning. Short, easy drive to the airport. Though the hotel is modern and very clean, the rooms contain only the barest of minimums. No shampoo. Tiny bar of soap. The only two electrical outlets in the room were tucked side-by-side under a shelf at the desk - no way... more

Thank you for your review. Our research shows that most people staying in a hotel simply want a clean, comfortable place to get a good night's sleep, and are happy to forgo the unnecessary “ frills “ offered in the other over-priced establishments, and we pass on the savings to you. But if you have forgotten something, Travelodge Hotels sell...

Have just returned from a weekend break in Limerick. We took advantage of cheap Ryanair flights to Shannon and thought we would try somewhere new. We flew into Shannon quite early and had many hours to kill; before we could check in at the hotel at 3:00pm. Got the bus from the airport directly into Limerick - it passed the... more

What a hotel! Exellent in every way for a "basic" place to stay. Could not fault any part of the stay from check in to departure. The staff were so helpful it could have been a five star hotel. One word of caution however. Watch out for the attached diner food was great but no good for the waistline. Would... more

Fantastic hotel! I booked the room on the travelodge website for a great price! When we got there they had just opened the new wing. Wow, best hotel I've ever stayed in. Perfect location for city and the country. 24 hour shop across the road, about 15 minutes to the airport. Staff were well organised for us, we were a... more

Basic budget chain hotel. Nothing fancy, but then again didn't expect anything else. I am familiar with this chain, as have stayed in some of their UK properties, and the Limerick Travelodge is up to par. Rooms are basic, and well used, but have all the basics necessary. We got a pricey walk in rate, but were happy enough that... more
