Clifton House is conveniently located on the main road between Shannon Airport and Limerick with reasonably priced bus service nearby. It's a comfortable walk into the city center and in the other direction there are mini-markets, takeaways, and other shopping, too. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great breakfast. Nice comfortable room. more

Just got back from a family visit to Limerick,Ireland where we stayed at our favorite B&B,Clifton House. Proprietors Michael and Mary Powell accorded us the usual warm welcome that we've come to appreciate after several visits there. Highly recommended. Steve and Christeen Kelly Victoria,BC more

We had an enjoyable night's stay at the Clifton House. The only reason I give it an "above average" rather than an "excellent" is because we stayed in a couple of very stellar B&Bs on our trip, and the Clifton was just barely not as great as some others. It wasn't our first time staying at Clifton House. Whenever we visit Ireland and particularly the Shannon Region, we like to stay there. It's cozy atmosphere and welcoming owners make it a wonderful place to rest our heads. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated.
