I've stayed in this hotel a few times and found the hotel to be great. Rooms are a bit small, but the staff are very friendly and very helpful. It's in the city centre so everything is in walking distance. Also has free underground parking. Would recommend if your looking for a comfortable central hotel :).

To begin (what was to be a disaster of a stay), the hotel car park was full. We had to use an alternative car park. In fairness, it wasn't too far from the hotel but an inconvenience nevertheless. The bedroom was not only the size of a small sauna but felt like one too. The carpet had seen better days... More

I had the displeasure of staying at the Pier last night with a group of friends. I have stayed here at the Pier many times without any issues, until last night. On arrival back to the hotel my friend and I were greeted at the door by one of the most unprofessional security men I have ever encountered. He informed... More

This is a clean, comfortable and friendly hotel, in a good central location. The rooms were clean, modern and well maintained. The breakfast was simple but tasty and quite affordable. well worth the money.

We stayed for ONE night and were charged 70 euro... Room was like a box no space to move.. bathroom window was broken with no handle.. I had to bend a spoon and try to close the window!! Blue gloves had been left on the landing in the hallway!! The hotel obviously had forgotten about the residents in the hotel... More

The hotel was lovely, greeted by a very polite lady at the reception who was super helpful. Sadly the room was a bit small, but not the end of the world. Myself and my boyfriend went out the 2 nights we stayed there and returned to the hotel around 1am both nights, so we had to ring a buzzer to... More

My husband and I stayed in a twin room Nov. 15. I thought the room was a good size. Not cramped. Only problem was that of the 3 lights on the wall, only one worked. This hotel had the most comfortable beds of all the hotels we stayed at on our travels around Ireland and Scotland. Very comfy. We had... More

On a driving tour of Ireland, I stopped in Limerick to see the sites for three days. This hotel offered the best value of all of the cities I visited in Ireland. The rate included breakfast, Wifi, and parking (based on availability). The hotel is very well kept, clean, warm (visited in December), and quite rooms. One restaurant and a... More

The rates for these rooms are acceptable for what you get in return. The room was clean and had all the basics you could want. Some of lights were not working properly in our room, the lock to the bathroom was broken, the key card holder inside the room door was also broken. TV was small (laptop screen is bigger)... More
