Needed to be in limerick at short notice and needed hotel with pool. This is on the outskirts and area isnt great for walking around but easy accessed by car. Lovely friendly lady on reception Friday night made two very tired and stressed travellers feel right at home. I had requested a quiet room as we needed sleep and we... More

Stayed here while on a night out. Great reception staff on arrival, check in swift. Went up to the room to drop off bag as you need your room key to access the underground car park. The room itself was lovely, large bed and good bathroom. We were at the back of the hotel lovely and quiet. 10 euro taxi... More

Was in town for a Munster Rugby match and hotel beds were at a premium so rather than city centre location had to move out of town slightly and Maldron was available and reasonably priced. On arrival my partner commented that it looked a bit dingy as an area but it is handy for car access off motorway/ringroad and is... More

Many thanks for your review. We appreciate your feedback . We are located in a residential area just outside the city centre but access to the city is extremely convenient. I hope that this did not hinder your enjoyment of Limerick too any great extent and hope to see you back in Limerick soon. Kind regards. Sinead More

We had flown in to Shannon and rented a car. This hotel is about a 25 minute drive from the airport and was convenient for a weary traveller. There is ample parking both outside and under the hotel but we simply left the car outside. One person commented on the area as appearing unsafe but this hotel is located close... More

I have stayed here a lot for business reasons. Hotel is located in a less than prime location, but it does serve its purpose as in easy access to the motorway and basic breakfasts. As others have said, the beds and the TVs could be better in this day and age. I wouldn't park outside, but the underground car park... More

Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Location wouldn't be the best but once you travel by taxi after a night out you'll be fine. I would return for affordable, comfortable accommodation in Limerick city.

I stayed at the Maldron in Limerick for 3 nights last week and it was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing experience. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good, with a wide range of items and a great 'bean to cup' coffee machine. It's great to kick start my day with a double espresso. The staff were... More

Good morning Daniel I am so sorry to have heard about this incident. It was an isolated incident and I believe the person involved has been arrested. I am disapointed that you were forced to put your comments on Tripadvisor as I was ensured that you had spoken to our General Manager and that you were satisfied with the outcome... More

Plus: Free wifi, albeit quite slow. Free parking. Cleanish. Despite its location, pretty quiet, even the rooms facing the road. Negative: Absolute crap beds. It's like sleeping on a roll away or worse. The mattresses are shaped like potato chips/crisps. CRT TV with fuzzy reception and only about a dozen channels. Fuzzy channels at that. Not entirely soundproof rooms, so... More

Many thanks for your feedback on your stay here at the Hotel. We always appreciate both positive and negative feedback. At present we are in the process of of a €500,000 bed replacement program.
