We stayed for 3 nights. No big complaints, but nothing to rave about either. The facilities are good, including a decent swimming pool and the staff were generally fine, apart from a quite rude girl with dark hair in the leisure centre. The rooms were smallish but the beds were comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking a back courtyard and... More

I stayed at the Maldron Hotel in July and was a return visitor in August 2014. I read the reviews and thought some of them were a bit harsh, however I soon learnt my lesson. On my first stay, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist and the room was lovely and clean. Unfortunately the second time round I was... More

We stayed there last weekend, 2 adults and 2 kids. It was a last minute booking the night before stay. €105 to include breakfast and free underground parking. Room was spacious, WiFi and plenty of towels provided for all for of us. Kids went down for a swim next morning which was a bonus. Breakfast was plentiful. Buffet with plenty... More

A two night stay at Limerick, This hotel is situated outside the city, one has to take a 7 Euro taxi to reach the center of city. There are good no of eating places in and around the hotel. The room size and toilet size is good. In summer, when the temp is high, it feels hot, but you can... More

I'm not negative on Maldrons! This Maldron hotel is like most that I have seen, They are outside the towns. You probably need transport to get into Limerick city. The big downer is it is opposite a halting site so there is NO view to speak of. So long as you are aware of this and you know what you... More

My boyfriend and I go to Limerick regularly to visit friends and family and the Maldron is always our first choice hotel. It's so clean. The beds are unbelievably big and comfortable! The staff are very friendly and are a joy to deal with. I've never had dinner there but the breakfast is really tasty and great value for money.... More

We stayed for 2 nights. Our room was lovely and quite large. The bed was so comfy. The room spotlessly clean. Staff very nice especially Gillian who was very helpfull. We paid a low price and for this it was excellent value. We just needed a bed for the night. We did not need to walk about the area. Came... More

The hotel was fine, however, the location and the surrounding neighborhood are not very pleasant to stay in. I certainly did not feel safe to venture out for a walk in the evening, which was probably emphasised by the presence of a door man "bouncer". The food in the bar was standard fare, breakfast was very limited.

We stayed here for one night. We upgraded our room to a superior room with chocolates, robes late check out and wine for an extra 40e which was great value but when we got to our room we were disappointed the room was very small and compact. The view was nice but the heating had been left on meaning melted chocolate... More

I greatly appreciate your feedback on your stay with Maldron Hotels. I am just checking that it was in fact Limerick that your feedback was concerning as we do not normally charge for upgrades ? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Sinead More
