Just spent two nights here in dream land, what a wonderful place. It has all the requirements of a top class hotel but its more than that. You are cared for by people who really do care for the place and you, so in my view that makes it more than a hotel. The staff are skilled and very knowledgable... More

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the house for 2 nights on our wedding anniversary. This was our first visit and our expectations were obviously high. From the moment we arrived, greeted by the staff until we left, we were treated like dignitaries. The exclusiveness and uniqueness of Ballyfin cannot be put into words. To... More

I can not do this place justice by describing it. It has to be the most luxurious, beautiful place that I have ever been in. It is a true privilege to be able to come here. Incredible, do make an effort to come.

I'm sure this title has been used before in relation to Ballyfin but it is entirely appropriate. A unique place really. 15 rooms. A team of staff unparallelled in their friendliness and professionalism. A US couple who have invested a lot of cash and 8 years of their lives in restoring this incredible place. Really special and a priveledge to... More

What a place! What an experience! What they know about service! Ballyfin has it all. Old world charm with cutting edge cuisine. Not sure I have ever enjoyed a shower as much in my life. Drinks in the library before dinner, followed by an sumptuous meal. While there may only be 600+ acres to the estate the vistas lead one... More
