We stayed for 3 nights at Pinecrest in Kilkenny. It's centrally located so we were able to take day trips out and see what we wanted to see such as Waterford, the rock of Cashel and so forth. It's also within walking distance to downtown, we walked to Kilkenny castle and other attractions. The owners Helen and Liam are awesome,... More

Thank you to Helen and Liam for your hospitality and help with our maps! My son and I traveled across Ireland and Kilkenny was our first stop out of Dublin. The room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious, and breakfast was delicious. We were easily able to walk into town to see the castle, visit the pubs and listen to... More

We had a wonderful stay at PineCrest in Kilkenny! We were two couples traveling through Ireland and Kilkenny was our first stop. Helen and Liam were very friendly and full of recommendations in Kilkenny. They were even able to help us get in to Smithwicks brewery tour after we had been told all tours were full for the day. The... More

I stayed here with two of my friends when I came to Kilkenny for a wedding. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and Helen and Liam were the best hosts you could ask for. They were helpful, kind and went out of there way to make the stay pleasant. The rooms were furnished excellently. Nothing like a lovely hot shower and... More

Helen was a gracious and welcoming hostess. Her husband went out of his way to help another guest find a replacement tire for his rental car. We had a large room with a big bathroom on the main floor, and enjoyed a quiet night and a great breakfast. It is a bit of a walk to the center of town,... More

Would recommend this B&B to anyone. Helen was helpful in giving local advice and very accommodating. We only stayed one night and were very pleased. Great breakfast also. Also, just a short walk to town.

This was one of the best B&B's, Helen was so friendly, she welcomed us with tea and biscuits. After she showed us our room and we got our stuff in, she gave us a map and highlighted a few restaurants for us. Great suggestions, too. The walk into town is only about 10 min. Our room was very spacious and... More

We decided to stay here after hearing about it in Rick Steve's book. It was a nice place and the breakfast was incredible. Lovely people with open arms. Great location, simple walk into town. The rooms were large And what appeared to be well kept. We had 3 rooms in total and seemed to be missing enough towels in each... More

Stayed here during our first night in Kilkenny with two other guys. This was my first B&B experience, so didn't know what to expect. B&B was around a 10 minute walk to Kilkenny's city center. The hosts were extremely nice and friendly and definitely accommodating to our needs. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Their Irish breakfast was plentiful.... More

The B&B was lovely and off the beaten path. Only a 5 minute walk to town. Liam was great with suggestions of where to eat and go in town. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
