this place is excellent, Rosie was brilliant, very accomodating and friendly hostess. Felt more like a hotel than a B&B, highly recommend this place for groups of people. Standard is exceptional. Only a short distance from the city, could be walked to and fro easily.

The B&B is run by a very friendly lady! She gave us loads of information about sight seeing in Kilkenny and even showed us how to get to the Rock of Cashel! There were a lot of different teas and fruits at breakfast and she offered hot pancakes or an irish breakfast as well! I really liked the bed room,... More

Not knowing what to expect for our first trip to Ireland, Rosie was very helpful. Plenty of brochures/maps to help us find our way around. Landed in Dublin at 8am, then drove to Kilkenny via Glendalough. Room was very comfortable - and quiet. Amenities included bottled water, candy, shampoo, body soap, blow dryer, cable TV. Delicious breakfast.

I stayed in this B & B for 2 weeks and I was really enjoyed my visit there. The room was spacious and neat. The location was also great, only took around 15 minutes-walk to reach the city centre or 5 minutes if you go by taxi. The owner, Rosie was also very friendly and helpful.

The B&B is in a great location, walking distance from the bustle of the beautiful highstreet - packed with great pubs, shops and restaurants - but far enough that you have the serenity of peace & quiet. Rosie is such a lovely host. I stayed at her B&B for a week (being on a 3-week journey) with only a small... More

Although we only stayed one night-it was an enjoyable stay. It was easy to walk into town. The room was clean but a bit dated. Breakfast was good and very filling. The host,Rosie was helpful with directions and what sights to visit.

We stayed at Abbey Lodge for our only night in Kilkenny. It is a nice modern B&B. The room was a descent size, very clean, and the shower has an electric heater so there’s no chance of cold water. The bed was comfortable, and this was probably the quietest B&B that we stayed in during our trip. The owner was... More
